    Inside Doc's Shop... sort of...

After putting together those Montneel seals, I shot some extra video, and tried to piece together a sort of "process" video, showing more or less how it was done.

Keeping in mind I'm still pretty new at this- both recording and editing (and planning and scripting and acting and... ) but we gotta start somewhere.

Let me know what'cha think- I'd love to hear some feedback, good or bad, and hopefully I can make the next one better.

    Doc.

No random forest critters wandering through the shop, so we cannot confirm that this is indeed Doc.

-Yep. Took two attempts to make the top punch, and I started by just setting the part on the table to crimp it down. If I wasn't extremely careful- with a ball peen hammer?- I'd also wind up partially collapsing the side O-ring groove too. So I had to make that little fixture to support the upper face of that same groove.

... And you guys thought they fell out of the machine and I just stuck 'em in a bag.

Those nippers after the cut off are a good idea.

Big fan of the note cards vs talking, allows the viewer to focus on what is happening and not what is being said. And what is happening is excellent!
