    1v1 paintball

Apologies if this has already been posted.

This is not my style of paintball at all but I did find this to be an enjoyable watch.

There are several more videos of the entire series also on youtube.
"but we all have electros and you guys only have pumps, this wont be fair"

    (chuckling quietly) "we know"

I will say that as far as the viewability and keeping up with the action for TV this is just about perfect. So far as continued watch-ability I just am not sure. I think it would drag along the same way playing this way in real life does. First few games are cool then the novelty wears off.

I watched and enjoyed the first few then went straight to the final which was also pretty good.

We all know how any other major sport will kind of play out, but yet we still watch them. Some of us religiously even. In order to get more people excited about our niche sport, we need things like this where anyone can root for a player. I'll be honest, I had my pick who I wanted to see win watching these games.

To me, it's kind of like a hockey format, albeit way shorter between goals / points. Play until someone scores and then reset. This has a very similar feel to it. I watched all the matches already!
I'm a fan of this new format and hope to see it in more places potentially.

I like watching these, although like most paintball coverage I wish there was a bit more of an overall view. Definitely like that there are a variety of bunkers and the objective of having the buzzers. HK has something similar that they do, but all the bunkers are the same, which is interesting in a different way. I also really like playing 1v1s - great way to get a lot of practice in.

That seems like a pretty cool format. I wonder if it would be more fun to watch 2 v 2 so that there weren't as many anticlimactic double eliminations.

1 v1 is a fun concept for watchability. I thought the buttons were lame, and I thought the layout of the field could get MUCH more creative and was less interesting and stale as is.
