SC feed options for DF necks (not DIY)

Hello. I'm trying to figure out a good SC feed option. I have a DIY one, but I want something cleaner, smaller & easier to work with than hose clamps, electrical tape & whatnot.

The catch: it has to go OVER a feedneck, not inside like the Sanchez Machine or ACParts ones. It's for a PMI Trracer. In my brief searching I've found that Paintball DNA is the only one that has this. Are there any other purchasable ones that can go over a feedneck? I just want to know what my options are. I'd also be interested in 90* cram & jam elbows.

    Thanks for reading.

Expensive, but technically should work. https://www.indiancreekdesigninc.com...ock-class-feed

The treaded piece is removable and what remains is a small clamping area meant to work with empire spec feednecks. But you can still throw it over a regular side feed and clamp down.

I saw that one but I must not have read/looked at it properly & thought it was for ICD threaded markers only. I think I understand how it works now. But what Chuck said below concerns me, as I have a mix of old & new tubes & I don't want something potentially finicky. I'm likely going to avoid that one.

Thanks for posting though. I appreciate it.

The ICD option will work but it has its kinks. The feed gate won’t fit older style tubes. You need to use the Empire style ones that have a smaller opening so that it goes into the ICD feed far enough to activate the latch on the feed gate. Also the ramp to the ICD is abrupt so the drop needs to be taken into account. I have seen chopping issues when the 2nd ball in the stack don’t have the room when pushed out of the way getting pinched between bolt and top of the feed ramp by the bolt on some markers.

Autocker parts use to make one. So did palmers but they were always expensive.

My suggestion since you seem to be pretty good with the brass work get some nice brass pieces and make your own. I have been hounding Mozak to make some aluminum feeds or even feed blocks he has not said no. something may be in the works. I would love to see some more options especially aluminum ones that can be anodized to match. Few of the guys are messing with carbonfiber tubing and Phantom feed gates. I wish there were better options.

How cool with a universal feed be. Like one you could use on both over style stovepipe fednecks and inside style. I wonder if there would be enough meat to make it happen. Or a small screw together adapter at the base of the ball ramp to connect to both styles. One feed for em all.

Ah yes, I forgot about the feed gate issue. I swapped mine for a phantom feed gate, just needs a bit of tape under the back cap.
Working...
