I keep updating my original response on page 3, but over the weekend the following markers were used:

CCM’d Half block w/ Nova Valve
BT Omega (new purchase)

BT-4 Pooper Trooper - too hot to use.
Empire Sniper w Lazarus valve - inconsistent over chrono, needs tuning

I ran the half blocked CCM and lent the rest out to friends/family.

Haven't played yet this year but I did sell almost everything last year and have started over this year.

I don't see much playing in my future for a few years though, so we'll see. I like building stuff more than playing, anyways. 🙂

This past weekend I rocked the following-

Automag- mostly stock. Worked well but velocity was a bit off and the reg leaked past 280fps. Since I was cycling guns I didn't have a chance to fix it but I used it for several games. Hasn't been touched since 2013.
Ule warp fed automag. Worked perfectly. Played several games with it and everyone commented on it. Hasn't been used since 2013.
Taso vindicator. Worked really well on 12g. Hpa was shooting way low, maybe 240. Has some roll out issues but nothing crazy. Played two games with it. Hasn't been used since the 90s.
Evil minion. Worked fine at home but immediately blew a reg oring when aired it up at the field. Hasn't been used since 2012.
Spyder. Worked well as you could imagine. Was my dead brothers gun so it's more sentimental. Probably hasn't been used since the early 00s.
Vm68 #1. Worked fine at home but had serious auto hammering issues at the field. Never got to play with it but found it was a spring issue and valve positioning needed to be moved. Lots of compliments on it while it was sitting on the bench. This one is set up assassin style with a back bottle and front expansion chamber. Hasn't been used since the 90s
Vm68 #2. Didn't get a chance to touch it. Front mount 9oz CO2 tank and the field did t have any CO2 left. Hasn't been used since the 00s
Trilogy pump. Played one game. Worked ok. Had a habit of venting from the bolt chamber if I didn't pump it correctly.


Next week I have a Spyder vs1 to take out. A Spyder imagine. Vm68#1 retry. Evil minion. If I can dig up a 006 oring in time. And I will bring the automag and taso pump as back up.

I learned some important stuff from almost 2 years of this.

1 I have some guns that are more valuable to me on the wall than the field... Looking at you KP2 from my wedding, and first gun.

2 I have guns that I should sell because they are worth more than a comparable replacement

3 some are irreplacable

Speaking of 2 years of lessons, turns out I am a bit of a hoarder.

When a marker is listed as "used" below, that means I have played a full day with it. Or as much as the marker would allow.
And "full day" means "a variable amount of time within a day that is dependent on how tired I got:"

• S6.5 - used
• Sterling (both as OC & SC) - used, but develops a new leak every time i touch it
• Automag build #1 - used
• Automag build #2 - not used or even tested
• N3 Hellion - has yet to see the field
• Emek (PAL) - used by my kid
• Emek (non-PAL) - used
• Mech Ion XE - used
• Electro Ion - used the most, BUT it's had so many part swaps that it's become a Ship of Theseus situation
• EM1 - used
• Resurrection - used, but now for sale
• Enmey - used as a loaner, but also for sale

Honorable Mentions (i.e., backyard shooters, all used):

• JT ER4 - never intended for the field, only bought as a curiosity
• JT Z200 - to scare squirrels away from the wife's bird feeders; hit a squirrel once, ball didn't break, squirrel wasn't even phased
• JT Z100 - same deal as the Z100 but less fun to use

Don't sleep on the ER4, they are an absolute blast to use. I had one kicking around my gearbag for a while and one day we had a ton of renters so I used that s my primary instead of a full size marker and holy shit it was fun
