I actually saw you at one point (near yellow tower if I remember right), I thought about saying hi, but you were shooting at somebody and I didn’t want to distract you!
JeepDVLZ45 yes sir! I was hoping you would see this post. I was gearing up, and almost grabbed a open class pump to make the day simple. My internal dialog called me a pussy, and I loaded this beast up. Spent the whole first half of the game shooting single shot, and tooting my battle trumpet. I only got one confirmed G, but it was a good one.
There was a few guys nestled in some bushes a group of us were fighting. Other guys got what seemed to be all of them. Then the bushes shook a bit. I said, I think there is still one in the bushes, bloop. The guy walked off.
Short of the cocking lug missing the hammer occasionally it shot great all day. Once I figured the cocking lug out,I'd bias the bolt down to cock the rest of the day.
That’s awesome! It definitely can be intimidating to go out like that, but it’s a crazy high when you shoot someone out with a single shot (especially if they’re ramping a space gun at you).
I’m spoiled, we have a lot of small outlaw games out here where everyone is rocking a single shot.
I’m glad you had fun with it! Keep running it, you’ll be surprised at how effective you can be with sole practice. (Even something as simple as learning an efficient reloading technique for a quick follow-up gos a long way!)
