[The Last Snood]

Back when I was on my haitus from pb, I used to have a reoccuring place in my dream I would go. Sometimes I would enter this building which was a classic proshop. Normal square room with the guns hanging on the walls, and with glass cases having random accesories in it. Then there was a door to the side which would open up to a target range and then some like Rambo jungle, woodsball field. Can't really remember playing but I did enter there a few times, that's how I knew I missed pb since this dream came out of no where.

I think one of the most recent ones I had involving pb was just a gun fight with a lot of snap shooting and dodging, it was just weird because we were like playing in a woodsball/disc golf course. Like there was a basket next to me. I haven't even thrown discs in years but I did win that dream battle haha and then I woke up.

The park down the road is nicely wooded and I always think "a field should be here" but also has disc golf baskets

I haven't played PB in years but I throw plastic most weeks. Funny how things are.

Most of the time, PB needs more cover than DG. Unless it's a really, really hard DG course.

Years after I was a ref I had a recurring dream where I was in the middle of a game and suddenly realized I wasn't wearing a mask and was both scared of getting an eye injury and mortified that I was stupid enough to start a game as a ref without having my own mask on. I also used to have dreams about trying to defend myself with a Splatmaster Rapide and having the double action trigger work in slow-mo.

i played at HSP in LA a few years ago and it was kind of surreal. all the crazy props and $$$ poured into the facility. Totally different world than the fields out here (east coast). lots of sand and concrete. every now and then i have some fleeting dreams i barely remember about that place. definitely influenced by all the bacci videos and socal zoom cam stuff on youtube!

Balls were shooting way weird, trigger pull was way weird (common themes, probably stemming from my greatest fears) but I was playing way aggressive and making gnarly moves. It was indoor air bunkers for some reason and a bunch were deflated and I was squishing into them getting sweet angles. ONLY IN MY DREAM AMIRITE?!

Paintball field wouldn't keep the props inflated for walk-ons - are you sure you were asleep? This sounds like the last time I played.

I frequently have the same dream where I'm traveling to some huge event and right as I get there I realize forget some very important item. Last time it was my shoes. In other dreams its my good loader or my good mask. SOoo strange.

Last Sunday I played some airball with Levirate
That night I dreamt about hiding behind a Dorito when suddenly a masked head and barrel poked out from another bunker down range. In my dream I snapped back behind my bunker, but my body physically snapped in bed so hard I woke myself up.

Awesome thread. I have paintball dreams all the time. This one was from October of last year.

Drove up to Jaegers in Kansas City for a pump event. Dream field was way different than what it actually is. More like an open high school recreation field that was sectioned off for different sports fields and paintball fields. Knew it was KC because Myrkul was there. First game I’m playing with a Phantom and manage to get an elimination but the velocity was super low and I was surprised it broke. Needed a new 12ie but realized I had forgotten extras and also had forgotten extra paint. Bummed some off a couple teammates and then the game ended shortly after. Went back to the staging area to get ready for the next game but couldn’t find my gear bag where I’d left it. Start worrying, but maybe someone had just moved it. I find it under a table, but it’s completely empty. Realize that all my gear had been stolen. Start panicking and trying to find someone to help. There’s a chaotic amount of people and I can’t find anyone I know. End up talking to the field employees to see what I should do or if they have cameras. They go to a lost and found section but the one marker they have definitely isn’t mine. I go back to the field but now there aren’t any paintball fields there and everyone is gone. The employees aren’t helpful and make it out to be my fault. I start getting really mad and begin shouting and then just decide to leave. As I’m walking back, it hits me that my youngest son was with me. I start looking everywhere for him but he’s nowhere to be found. Now I’m beyond scared and panicked. Everything fast forwards and then I I’m watching him crying and surrounded by people getting him fitted for a costume on a game show. He’s been kidnapped and I have no idea how to get to him. Just get this glimpse into what he’s experiencing. I can tell that all he wants is to be back home safe with his family. End dream.

Love this thread... just had one last night, was a weird one where I was walking/running down random streets shooting signs and stuff with a pump pistol, until near the end I chopped a ball, then ended up at a large field ready to jump into an attack-and-defend game, and that's when I woke up.

I would say paintball ends up being a significant chunk of the dreams that I can remember. A lot of them feature a couple of fields (not real fields, but rather a mix of fields that sits in my head and are a combination of things from real life experiences... some outlaw fields and some are structured 'pay to play'. Fields of dreams, lol). Most of the time I'm there with a bag full of gear, and usually I've got one choice setup that I play with. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes weird stuff happens like velocity/feed issues, or the paint is all swollen up and random and won't shoot right. Some of the dreams feature finding odd bits of gear or markers in a paintball shop. It's pretty rare that things in the dreams go normally, usually weird stuff happens with the gear or environment (find good position but the paint doesn't fly straight, marker jams up, etc.). If it's a dream where I'm doing well, I typically wake up just as things are about to get good (win the match, etc.) and I want to go back to sleep to finish the dream but can't! Not sure what that means, lol.

My original post mentioned this, but I've had a ton of dreams where I'm in a big box store or sporting goods store, go down a certain aisle and there's this abundance of old stock put out, new old stock JT masks, super cool old markers etc. And all marked down to crazy cheap prices. The excitement is out of this world, and then I wake up and cry

I have dreams about paintball, but usually every time I shoot, the ball kinda lobs out like it's being pushed out with a spring, instead of air. It's weird that it a recurring problem in my dreams.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever had any that I can remember, but I used to imagine running around mid field and while walking my trigger on the Karnivor and breaking off toward the snake side. Thinking about sequence in my mind helped me fall asleep actually many times

I used to have this recurring dream that I stumbled across some of vintage paintball markers. These paintball markers were like an exaggerated version of the assault 80, mayhem's, and the frogs. Exaggerated bodies, weird space gun like Marvin the Martian blaster type stuff. Crazy the detail in my dreams. And when I woke up it was really crazy that they weren't a reality.

In the only one I've had recently we were playing in some woods that had a street through it and for some reason we weren't positioned straight across from each other, each team was shooting like 80ft diagonally down the road, and no one seemed to want to get in better positions. And then there was a giant crab in loafers chasing me with lightning coming out of his eyes, or maybe that part was a Dane Cook thing.

Just had a weird one I wanted to share with you guys

For some reason I was a garbage man, driving around doing my pickups and I get to a house that has a box on top of their garbage can and I see barrels sticking out. I get out to look and sweet! Something like a bt4 and a chronus. I throw them in the cab to take home with me. Next to the garbage can is this stack of, kind of suitcases. Think of Lego bricks stacked but each layer is the size of a suitcase. I pull the top one off to find a ntx shocker. Wtf I'm thinking. Next one comes off, custom cocker with splash anno. Automag, Showbox shocker, sp1 it keeps going. Everything gets thrown in the cab of the truck

I'm pretty sure the dream went on but that's all I remember
