    Hmm. That logo looks familiar.

This stool will look great in my basement hobby shop.

But I gotta ask, when the hell did Lowe's get rights to the name and logo? Lol

Apparently that is Spyder Tools. The Spyder paintball logo looks like this:

Then there is the Spyder clothing line... It gets more confusing from there...

'Spyder' has been in use for just cars for at least sixty years- the Ferrari in Ferris Beuller was a (replica of) a '61 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. And before that, horse drawn wagons were occasionally called Spiders or Spyders- and from there, the open-top nature extended to convertibles.

You basically can't copyright "spyder" these days. Certain companies have it trademarked, sure- I'd have trouble using the name Spyder for a paintball gun- but if I wanted to name my new line of wombat emasculators the Spyder Professional Edition® I could, with no legal issues.

I knew they were used with cars. I remember Kingman offering Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyders as first place prize in their Spyder open tournaments.an, I miss those days.

But this just caught me off-guard and looked so similar to the paintball Spyder branding that I had to share it. And buy it. Looks great in my workshop/paintball den.
