    Unpopular opinion here: all autococking-style markers are double action. The second stage is simply pneumatically controlled vs mechanically, like we normally think of in markers like the Rapide.

      I remember getting into it with a guy a long time ago about it. It was probably mid 2000s, and he had played since the late 80s. He was adamant that Autocockers were semi's, and not "those shitty double actions", and he honestly got so heated I had to let it go. Lol

      When I think of double action I think that the action of pulling the trigger itself is what pulls the hammer/striker back. With a cocker you're cycling the action with the trigger which in turn cocks the hammer.

    Probably around 2006 I remember people commonly referring to Snipers as “pump-cockers”, so words are meaningless and there is no god. :-)
