    2+ pod packs

So before I had to step away from playing, my favorite pod pack for 99.9% of my time playing was an old R7 2+2. It held enough extra paint to get me through most games without being huge. If I wanted more pods, it had the little elastic loops for more. Sometime during my absence, that pod pack has disappeared. Perhaps it has gone extinct.

Does any company still make a nice 2+2? I see a couple brands that make 3+ harnesses, and I could probably settle with one of those, but would really prefer the smaller 2 pod configuration. If I'm pumping or derping in the woods I really don't need more than about 2 pods and having the wasted space of an empty slot on my pack bugs me for an unexplainable reason.

Alternatively, could anyone recommend a good molle-compatible pod holder? I could throw those on my vest or a "battle belt" and add or remove pod pockets as desired.

    Not exactly but close?…..

Give him a call. I have a 20 year old 2+1 Pack that is still as functional as the day I picked it up second hand.

Redz used to make a 2+(1 or 3). I had one & it was pretty well-built. But the waistband was very tall. Maybe you can find one on eBay? I’ve heard that NOS Redz packs pop up occasionally.

I currently use a HK Army 3+5 Eject harness. I usually run 3 tubes. Feels good IMO.

The belts on those went nuts to nipples.

I actually LIKED the width of those belts. They didn't bounce like a lot of the other old packs did.

Here are some options. The Tippmann 2-pack is still around from my basic web search. It doesn’t have the molle attachments and I’ve seen them used with basic web belts. But maybe some modification and it will work for you.

The BT 2pack is discontinued but does pop up in gear bag lot sales. It has molle attachments.

And a third option is DYE molle 3-pack at ansgear.com (free shipping threshold). I’m using this in a chest rig. I can’t find a good pack that doesn’t pull my pants down - it must be the redz belt. I figure a water bottle can be used with two pods with this pack.

ANSgear is the worlds largest online paintball store in the world. Huge selection of Paintball Guns, Tanks, Masks, Loaders, Harnesses, Barrels and more. Fast & Free shipping will keep you up to date with all of the best paintball gear.
