Does anyone have any experience with the "galactic" mag bodies that apparently have a rubber component after the breach that creates backspin on the ball? Superman recently posted a video of one.

That would be a chore for sure. I would pass on the project. I know there are more bodies out there.

They're not too uncommon, called a Z Body. Spin feature doesn't do much and you need to use a massively overbored barrel (they came stock with a big bore barrel IIRC)My Old Feedback (300+) https://web.archive.org/web/20180112...-feedback.html

not much more info but a little more to add.
Ravi's Paintball Place (archive.org)
there was also supposed to be a version of these available that came with a centerflag frame IIRC. They were to be the mag counterpart for the NPS/shocktech/bbt vortex. I don't remember if it was Ravi or warpig that had the web page for it and can't find it righ now.

There were lots of backspin systems before the Flatline/Apex. Like this Galatic-Z, or the Undertow, and the CooperT Maximizer. plus, a few companies made barrels with uneven porting, to also create the backspin, at least in theory. Those barrels never seemed to do anything. A few paintgun companies claimed backspin from the factory, though dubious.
I had the CooperT system on a bunch of guns in the early 90s. Those all worked perfectly. The trick was an overbored and SHORT barrel. It helped to have a few different barrels for different paint, thick shelled paint was best- ie RP SuperShell, since they did break more paint then normal bolts. A fun novelty
