Walzmas in July!

It’s been 6 months since Walzmas (or 6 months until Walzmas if you’re an optimist) and it’s time to get some
”good juju” out in universe again….

Here’s the deal, I want to help out our favorite wildcard, Jonnydread, and his charity, so (with approval from Painthappy ) I am going to raffle off some equipment and donate all the proceeds to Jonny’s cause.

The short story: Jonny is raising money for a young man in Kenya, Moses, who is struggling financially. Moses has a small company where he sources and sells clean water in his local community.

Now, I am out of town so I can’t post pics of all of the goodies, but I will be “giving away”:

1. SC phantom body (with some other useful bits)
2. ACI Griffin
3. Goblin Solo (with 1 shell)
4. Tippmann Prolite (short barrel…needs a rebuild)
5. USP Piranha
6. Bolt Action (FSR ready) Diablo (not pretty but shoots great)

So…how do you “play”?

For every $1 you donate, you earn 1 entry towards one of these 6 items. On July 8th or 9th, I will find a creative way to “draw tickets” and record it…coincidentally Jonny’s Pump Take Over at Warzone is that day….🤔

First person drawn gets item #1, 2nd person item #2 etc.

I don’t have a great way to this and I want to make it easier for Jonny, so….

I will “accept donations” for Moses via PayPal to: n.g.croce@gmail.com (please provide your username so I can track the entries) At the conclusion if the giveaway, I will send 1 lump sum to Jonny to help Moses. I will also personally match the first $50 in donations.

Since this is 100% for charity, I would ask that everyone sends their $ via Friends and Family (I’d rather not get dinged on taxes for this one).

Ok; so the drawings are gonna have to wait until next weekend, sorry for the delay.

Here’s the plan…..

I’m getting a different colored paint for each member who donated. 1 paintball per $1 they donated. I’ll mix them all up in my squirrel sack and then dump them in a hopper. Then cut them loose, one at a time, at a target. Based on the break color (and order) will determine the winners.

Now, IF I can talk one of my girls (probably my youngest) into it, I will be the target and she will be the shooter. (If she doesn’t land 6 shots out of the batch, I’ll put another round on for her)

I’m actually a little terrified. She was out in the woods shooting for practice and was doing really well…the she asked how fast it’ll shoot and what would happen if she just keeps shooting me…..there’s a reason I’m giving her a pump, with a 12g and a Geoff box. 😂🤣



so here’s the deal. I had 1 person who donated who doesn’t want to be entered into the contest. So…I have a pod filled with paint that is, Orange, Green and White fill. There is 1 paintball per $1 donated for each member.

Painthappy will be orange breaks
William the Third will be white breaks
and
SETHZILLA! will be green breaks

I had a British Nanny shake the pod to mix up the paintballs. We will then use one of Riot ‘a pucks to load them into 10 round tubes, and then feed the Geoff box. I’ll stand about 25 feet from my youngest and she’ll cut some paint loose at me.

first break gets the first prize listed, second gets second and so on. I will call the color breaks as they hit me.

…Iike an idiot, I never chrono-ed the marker before doing this, yesterday it was shooting high 280s so I didn’t think anything of it…..after the first sizzled past me, I got real ****ing nervous. 😂🤣 Hence the "That's shooting Hot" comment

I chrono-ed after she got me all 6 times….. and it was shooting 332fps. I have some good welts! But, its all for charity!
