    closed bolt mag fed?

looking at this ADN mag fed cocker, has me thinking ........ mag fed guns are plagued by jams, chops, etc.

Do you guys think mag fed marker reliability might go up if more guns were a closed bolt design?

Ie. In this cocker version, we know the LPR can be adjusted to the point a tad greater than it takes to cock the hammer. That is usually easier on paint.

From what I've seen most chops are from worn springs not feeding properly.

Maybe on the blowbacks. But the spools run fine. If that's the case I'd rather have a lvl10 xmagfed like the old longbows but somehow made to work with the PE mags.

The stop shot and lokbolts available out there really help with that problem too.

Most breaks and chops are because of the mags, doesn't matter if that ball has to travel the extra .68 because of the bolt or not because it's gonna have to eventually anyways.

        What about an automag magfed?

Mine is a MFG but anson made a few similar too. Level 10 does net seem to be required and mag parts are not hard to find (I still have couple of body and rail around if you need some).

And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Looks more like a Mini 14. Needs a folding wire stock. A Team style.

Just going to echo the main issue of magazine fed markers, are the magazines. The EMF100 is probably the smoothest option out there, but it's a rather violent action to feed vertically with moving bolts. Manually cycling the bolt is much less likely to cause issues but you will still experience hiccups.

It also depends if you are talking FSR or Round Ball, and which type of paintball you are using.

Closed bolt is just generally more consistent for velocity, but the feeding action is where all the troubles are.

              I second Mag Fed Automags

Im running a lv10 in the classic valve and have never had an issue with breaking paint, granted my build is different in the sense it's closer to a stock class marker, my go to is graffiti, but I've shot 3star no problem, and I tried 4star for shits and giggles and had success..... also i wish Rainmaker/Paintzapper would make the MAK Adapters again... I've used 2 different 3d printed adapters and his is by far my favorite
