Valken Tactical pants sizing

I'm trying to find some pants I can wear without kneepads, and it seems like the Zulu Pro pants have enough cushioning to absorb minor impacts on their own, as I despise every single pair of neoprene kneepads I've tried. (Alternative pant suggestions welcome.)

Has anyone used them?
What size should I order? I have a pair of Medium (30-36) Valken Crusade pants that fit very snugly, and a pair of newer BDU's that are 35 waist, and those fit almost perfectly.

Worst case, I could possibly buy a pair in both Large and Extra Large and return or flip whichever pair doesn't fit.

i have a pair of these in large, fit great but i wish the knee/shin pads were higher on the leg. im a 34 waist 30 inseam in a pair of levis. i think medium might fit better but have no reference besides the larges.

I love my tactical pants and don't have to wear kneepads under them which is great. i'm somewhere between a 36 and 38 depending on the MFG and the XL's fit great. and they're available in tiger stripe for crying out loud!

I bought a couple pairs of the V-TAC Tango line a few years ago and, I found their sizing guide to be accurate.

When you get them, would you mind taking a close-up pic of the print? I'm curious how the tiger stripe matches older Valken tiger stripe. Assuming they only come in tiger stripe, that is. That's all I'm seeing on the website.

Got a new set off ebay, but yeah tiger. I found some in Multi-glam, but am slowly moving away from that pattern in my own use.

There it is next to my PE camo jersey. Feels very well built and adequately padded. Unfortunately, they are headed to the post office tomorrow. I ordered large (36) and they are comically small, so I'm going to have to return them and hope I can find an XL. It really sucks because every pair of normal pants I own is a 34, yet these pants that are supposedly bigger don't even come close to fitting.

Edit: I had my wife watch me try them on and she thinks I should get a 2xl based on how tight these supposedly large pants are.

Double edit: these pants, in fact, fit my 5 foot, 100lb wife perfectly around the waist. Legs too long for her, but dang lol

That's weird that they're SO small.

But it looks like they're using their original print. I might pick some up to match my Valken jersey.

Almost makes me wonder if it's a mis-labeled medium.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. I used to work in a bread factory, and it was nothing to have production run out to shipping and grab some trays because they didn't hear the product change and let wheat bread get into the white bread bags.

Might be worth hitting up customer service.

Final update: I exchanged the Large pair for a 2XL. They fit near-perfectly. Had to tighten the waist by about an inch; but it feels really good. I don't know what's up with their sizing, but the first pair was not a fluke. For reference, I am 5'11", and hover around 200lb.

Wtf? Well I'm glad you got a pair that fits. I'll definitely keep this in mind if I order some.
