So I was messing around with my Box Mag and...

Oh yeah. They left the hopper notches in the mold! So I pulled the Box Mag apart, and yeah, they fit together almost perfectly!



So I went and bought all the Gen1 replacements: the battery door, the bottom plate, and the *free* empty space add-on sheet metal thing (in case I ever decide to run that Velcro setup again, for whatever reason), and I installed it. After replacing the battery door, the hopper sat down like a normal Cyclone/RipClip. I think this will solve all of my hesitancy with the bulky Velcro box. Now I just need to transfer my spikes to the main body, and pick up an Exalt speed feed. 🤙 Now my joke about the "MCS Warp Feed on my Tippmann Automag" is even more fitting.

I think they actually bought the contracts for them. I can't imagine they're still selling old stock.

It's just amazing to me that NOBODY in the magfed community ever experimented with this before.

Lol. Yeah, we come from all over. I like magfed because it's semiauto stock class, essentially. But I like this boxmag because it's a warp feed, essentially. So... Yeah ..

Is the magazine portion reversible? You'll get way fewer hits on the Hopper if it sits opposite your dominant hand.

Not currently, but I've heard rumors that MCS is working s lefty version mag adapter. That would be my preferred setup. But in the woods, this setup should be ok.
