The main thing I didn't like about the 'new' Trracer was those damn Picatinny rails. If I'd had the capacity to injection-mold (or reliably 3D print, I guess) I'd have made a smooth Bushmaster style pump handle.

He wrote back! Used to be a member, and sold those traccer bolts through a friend here. didn't specify his old handle or anything - said this was the best place to sell them, and that there was a thread related to the bullfrog pump that he could not find anymore
Think he was un-aware of the hack. I encouraged him to make his way back! many questions about that double barrel super low pressure concoction of his!

That is my site. I am surprised when somebody finds it. It is mostly intended for personal use. I am one of the few people that would be interested in search engine de-optimization☺. However, I am happy to be discovered by this non-toxic corner of the internet. Thank you all for the kind words.

The stainless Trracer bolts were sold mostly through this forum starting around 2011. It probably lasted a few years before demand dried up. A friend handled the sales and I handled the manufacturing. We were both paid members.

Dirt bike is a 2005 CR250. I raced harescrambles on that from 2008 - 2019. It was old when I started and ancient when I stopped racing. 2000 S10 with home built tailgate was for long trips. 1986 K10 for trips shorter than 2 hours. I still have all this stuff because I am cheap and often don't like new things anyway.

CO2 is an availability thing. I have a 50lb tank and was the fill guy for outlaw games.

I will finish the "Orthus" double barrel some day. The last time I worked on it, I got the ball drop indicator gates working well with some laser diodes. I see my site is outdated... I can cross that one off the list.

The "Bullfrog" pump is the only fully custom marker that I finished. It is a low pressure Nelson style design. I used version 1 a lot and it worked well. Version 2 has a few simplifications from what I learned with v1. V2 was machined more carefully to give a nice surface finish.

One question I do have on the orthus, if the bullfrog is the only full custom build what is not custom on the orthus? Have any videos of that thing shooting I'd really like to see it

Bullfrog is the only one I *finished*. Orthus still needs some work. It is plenty custom with loads of time spent on it, that is for sure. I don't have any videos. Thanks for the T-shirt and mayo.



I will try to contact my "sales guy" to see if he has any Trracer bolts left. I used to work with him, but he moved on to better things. He owns the low pressure Trracer. The valve body was a one-off part for that project.

Very cool stuff. My personal favorite is the low pressure Nelson because I want one, but what you did for Buster is easily the coolest thing on the site. Well done, and extremely useful.

Buster is almost finished. I still want to make a rear steering controller to center the back when both steering buttons are held down. It also needs stake sides for the bed for carrying split wood, but that will only take a few hours. Ol' Buster is earning his keep again. It has passed the stump pulling and log dragging tests. Moving big rocks and carrying split wood on a sheet of ice (tires are studded) are tests still to come.


I got word that all the Trracer bolts were sold. web,archive speaks the truth; same thing Lizard_13 told me today.

That didn't answer my question, what was NOT custom on the orthus? Did you use an existing valve/engine or something?

Big fan of your work, especially the double-barrel. Those are rare in this sport, and always nice to see one that's not just, like, two Ions nailed to a 2x4 or something.

Hell id still call that custom. Not like anyone is expecting you to design your own noids. You designed and built the core of the marker and that's the important part
