What is the most oddball MCB'd gun you have seen? Some of the guns at MCB are made because Why Not? For instance, has anybody made a semiautomatic out of a Splatmaster?
Yes, I sometimes get bored at work. Why do you ask?
That pneumatic PGP with the copper open class top tube screams MCB or Jordan’s brass Cocker. I’m sure there are more but those stand out off the top of my head.
Why? Simple answer is Because we can..
Im actually excited to see what this thread digs up.
Sounds like my current project fits the bill. Sheridan P series with a CCM T2 frame, break action, and freaky. This thing has seen plenty of MCB'ers workbenches, and keeps evolving.
I saw an E pgp somewhere on here or Google, also wasn't there a guy that put a Bluetooth speaker on an ion, there was an apocalypse style build off one time that had a bunch of crazy cool stuff in it, the nuka cola rifle autococker was pretty dope
It's duracoated, so better than paint. Maybe he will see this and post up a shooting video for us. I never had all the parts, just soldered the body back together. I know Ty McNear did work on it as well
I just came across an old video of this on YouTube a couple days ago. If not this one, one almost the same, but i think it was just an earlier version.
Yeah, that's mine. Same one as the one above this, just an earlier version. That version had used a standard PGP body, which we replaced with the body above. There were several reasons. The lower tube needed a spacer that was a giant PITA in the ass to get the MQ2 valve to fit, which we put into the ePGP because it was incredibly hard to hit velocity with the mechanical lower tube. The adapter plate was also annoying to have kind of just there unattached. And the ball detent on that body had been put slightly off of where it should have been. So Ty and I worked on a body that fit better for the valve itself, which is what you see in JCs picture. That marker of mine has been around for probably 8 or so years, I would guess. It's been shot at Bones and Ashes and was in Paintball.Media magazine a few years ago. And I'm bringing it to shoot at the Collapse at OXCC in a couple of weeks.

I built the brass Sniper to test an idea, like virtually everything I make - once I figure it out, I either build a finalized version or move on to the next thing. 🙂
The E-Cocker I made prior even to the release of either the Race frame or the E-Blade, using my own custom pneumatic sear and a couple of surplus 'shoebox' Shocker solenoids?
The PGP was a customer project, and while I hope it's still out there and at least in somebody's collection, I haven't heard of or about it basically since I mailed it off.
The SL I still have, and have been meaning to get back out, repolish and properly finish.
The PA Ghost belonged to a guy that went on this board, years back, by "P3". I haven't heard of or from him in decades. I think I made that around '04, haven't heard from Dave since probably '06 or '07. I still have it, was down to choosing a fresh anno color when last I heard from him. That one, too, I've been meaning to finish.

Doc.
Umm, why didn't you put the Duke up there? It's not "odd" per say, unique and next level as fuck, yes.
