Haven't had many right feeds, as you know things don't last very long in my hands. But I have a nifty old slab right feed coming and I like the low profile and angle of the Sconi lean, and I know it's all preference/need to try figure out what's best, but looking for other's experience and preferences between the two.

Standard. The Sconi is very well built but I can't stand the angle. It just seems to be a poor fit for a gravity feed or non-force feed hopper. I am sure Myrkul will be by to counter my thoughts.Velcor will save us...

The sconi is incredibly well built, and I love the angle. It definitely balances more like a center feed, but you will need a little bit more sweat and muscle for them to be comfortable. That's why OpusX doesn't like them. He has womanly wrist. I like to run them on mags, cockers, and Shockers, or true right feed markers. Currently I have one on my shocker SF, my magical mag build, and my 96 Cocker, which is my best shooting mech gun at the moment.
Unfortunately, leave your revy at home though. They need a spire or rotor to feed reliabily at high rates of fire. It might just be how abusive I am on semi auto triggers, but I won't run one without a force feed. Also they blow chunks on power feeds. They just feel too damn awkward when they get that tall. For my beloved ICD mechs and other guns that have a power feed, I like the APP atomic elbow that comes with hose clamps. I still haven't managed to kill one.Last edited by Myrkul; 11-27-2023, 12:37 AM.

Picked up a Sconi elbow and was a little confused by the angle. Most of my markers are CF, so though maybe there were different angles of RF/LF on various markers. Anyone know the reason why they are made with the that angle?

I have a few Sconi elbows, but prefer the Armson ones from PTP.

You should at least start with a standard elbow and give it a try. It's a chance to have fun by trying something different, learning some new skills, etc. Plus that chuck of aluminum is gonna add a lot more weight to the gun than a plastic elbow, while also making your wallet $40 lighter...

I like Sconi products usually and use his adaptors for my Remote ASA and I use his feednecks and dovetails. This one though is an abomination against the paintball gods.
I use a TechT aluminum elbow and it is amazing, it grips with plenty of force, it never twists even on the most highly gloss polished feednecks. I also use Armson elbows for when I am also using a second marker since I only have one TechT elbow and they seem to be rare

Not a fan of aluminum (metal) elbows on markers. They are tougher then the actual RF tube pressed (sometimes glued) into the body, so that now becomes the weak point in any type of fall involving your marker. I have had to repair several RF tubes over the years and not particularly fun. When you use a good elbow like the PTP elbow it becomes the "fuse" and allows the hopper to detach from the marker during a fall (usually the hopper pops out of the elbow or the elbow rotates). On top of that they are cheap. For those who have a problem with the balance of the hopper not being in-line with the center of the marker I suggest getting some exercise and work on that arm and wrist strength. A better reason for the Scion elbow (shameless copy of the RTR elbow) is it helps keep your hopper behind cover while playing.
