This is a little reminder that we don't talk politics or religion at MCB. Go to your social media outlet of choice if you'd like to discuss gun control, race relations, fiscal policy, or the naming of post offices. Here we promote peace among ballers (when not shooting at each other).

    Thank you for your cooperation.

It's over 100 bucks to have pepper ball particles spread 2 feet from your face. Awesome! Sign me up.

          Bottom line:

Some people, for either legal or ethical reasons, use "non lethal" or "low lethality" air guns for self-defense.

This device is designed to split a pepperball, providing a close-range cloud/blast rather than an intact ball. (It's worth noting that "tear gas" pistols have been a thing since at least the sixties. They were popular in places like Britain for a while- looked like a revolver, but fired charges of "tear gas" powder, likely a similar CN or CS dust. These got outlawed when it was discovered that crooks were drilling them out and loading firearm cartridges.)

It's $100 because... well, why not? Anybody who wants it- or feels they need it- will buy it.

Do the pepperball or solid ball guns work in every situation? No, of course not. The same can be said for regular firearms. A full-stock 12-gauge does you little good when you're sitting in your car's front seat, trying to fend off a carjacker.

And finally, why are we even talking about this? This "splitter" thing has as much to do with paintball as kitchen blenders or motorcycle tires.

            .
Please someone post a demonstration video of this being fired in a car, I would love to see that.

If it's one of my local post office: the fact that they can't actually do their job. And it's not just a staffing thing either, they have always been terrible. They will leave a slip on your door saying you need to come to the office to get a package, you show up, wait through the 45 minute line for the person at the only window to come back 10 minutes later saying you don't have a package there. You go home and the next day get another note saying, come get your package or we are returning it to the seller. Yeah thanks guys.

The real truth is it's more of a sorting facility but USPS for whatever reason sends everyone in the area there for packages rather than another office that is more equipped to handle customers.

First time I've noticed it, but perhaps because of this attachment, the barrels of most of these more recent Pepperball guns are all Apex-tip compatible... or almost compatible.
Seems like the forward divot is just a few millimeters too far back
Don't know if the porting is a good idea, either.

This seems like a much better option if you just want the other person to go "ouchie" instead of dying. Probably much better full auto bb guns out there. But I'm a M1 Carbine fan. .

didnt HK or somebody have a barrel cover that did this? it was "open" ended with a piece that would split any balls that went through it?
pretty sure that one was like $15

                    edit:
idk if the end is open, but they are $12 and you could just carefully cut the end off without losing the splitter for the same effect
