    More ANS Gear Woes

    I've had my fair share of issues with ANS Gear over the years. However, they've always expedited the correct item, expedited replacement parts, paid for return shipping, issued a full refund, etc.

    Here are some e-mails from my most recent issues - 1. Order Confirmation, 2. Out of Stock / Refund, 3. Refund Dispute

    I'm not concerned about the $6.xx; it's the principle that irks me.

    Some comments:
    1. My wife did a brief stint in retail 20 years ago during college. She told me about the many return schemes people would try to buy things on various sales and then return them, wanting more than they paid for it. This is clearly not the case here.
    2. JT ProFlex/Spectra lens not being restocked? I doubt it. Maybe the yellow color, but even with that, my guess is they'll be in stock in the spring with a new part number - perhaps so they have a technicality to not fulfill backorders.
    3. Anybody else feel JG is telling me to f*ck off in the last e-mail?

    My one and only order of new paintball gear in 15 years was from ANS and was claimed to be delivered by FedEx when there wasn't a FedEx truck on my block all day. ANS Gear essentially told me to pound sand when I asked if they could do anything for me. Not surprised at all when I see posts like this.

      I am done with period. after it took them 6 months to fulfill my last order with multiple follow ups and no real expected timeline. I have had other issues with them in the past.

        I know I'm always taking a gamble when ordering from them, I've been refunded for out of stock stuff before. But lately it's all been smooth thankfully.

            Yeah, they owe you $34.93 ($32.95 + 6% tax), but maths r hurd! Why should you lose $6.42 in loyalty points because ANS has a shitty inventory system? If ANS doesn't refund the $6.42, I would totally open a dispute with you credit card company. Yeah, $6.42 isn't much, but it's totally the principle.

              Tell them you want a full refund and just reorder the pack since math is to hard for them.

              Or don’t and just get what you need from anyone but them. I haven’t ordered from them in 15+ years after they refused a refund on an out of stock item then charged me a restock fee for an item they never shipped or ever had. My credit card said otherwise and gave me a full refund. I refuse to buy anything from them since.

                I’m done with them. I’ve been updating my paintball store links with suggestions from this and other “ANS Gear sucks” threads.

                Another thing is they didn’t even have my loyalty points right. I have a string of emails from this past Summer asking them to correct them, they said they would, but never did.

                Moving on.
