Lugging your gear

So I recently picked up a Husky stackable rolling tote for the gear I take with me to the field. I was using duffel bags and old paint boxes for the longest time, and this just feels so much more organized. Now I just need this and a gun case or 2.

So how do you haul your gear to and from the field?

I scored an old Eclipse rolling gear bag a few years ago for $50. Really good condition for being an early version, and for that price a steal. I've tried other methods but this has been the best.

Dye navigator for most of the stuff a milk crate for pods, reusable shopping bag for masks and my toolbox is its own unit. It's actually supposed to be a rather large fishing tackle box but it hauls all of my o-rings parts and tools

My father-in-law actually uses one of those husky cases as well it works really well I was kind of surprised

I use a Condor Colossus. It holds everything I need and is easy to carry using its side handles, carry handles, or backpack straps. The backpack straps are particularly handy when I have to walk up from my local field's lower lot. The trail would mess up anything with wheels.

I should add that the window on the side is the perfect size for a Carter's Commando patch.

I use knock off pelican cases from tractor supply. I can fit like 6 VSC Phantoms with stocks. Air tight to.

They work great for holding multiple long markers. I purchased a few of them but they are a bit pricey. But you can fit a lot of setups.

It’s the same brand as the smaller ones they sell. It’s just the rifle case. I will let you k ow the exact brand when I get home.

I got a motocross bag from ebay. It's bigger than a paintball bag, has air vents, and was way cheaper.

I still have- and occasionally use- an old TASO gear bag I bought from the local hobby shop (which had a small corner of paintball stuff) probably back in '95 or '96.

Typical black Cordura, comes with a matching marker bag that's big enough to hold almost anything, without the barrel attached, and three tubes on the side to hold up to 14" barrels.

Very well made, the zippers still work, most of the velcro is still good, and could hold most of the basic gear for one player. (One mask, one marker, one tank, a hersey, headwrap and gloves, a small pack and a few pods, a couple tools, a squeegee, maybe a parts kit...

Then again, I've also showed up at the field with three 24-gallon "Action Packer" totes, a military tool bag, half a dozen padded gun cases and that TASO bag.

... I've always wanted to make a slide-out gun rack, like the one the Ghostbusters had to hold their Proton Packs, as seen just before they went up to Dana's apartment at the end of the first movie.

throw 2-3 in the trunk and go. they can lock and be tied to your car /bed of truck if needed for extra security

I do exactly what you do but one size bigger. The top piece is for tools and spare parts

I currently use an old Paintball Mega Body Bag my wife had custom embroidered for my birthday many moons ago. I have been looking at a Ridged setup similar to your Husky to get more "organized" and easier to haul around. I really need to stop hauling so much gear but when I get to play I never know what is going to be the type of play until I get there.

This. I fly with my stuff all the time, and these things are BY FAR the best bag I've ever used. My has taken a ton of abuse from the airlines, and has held up extremely well through everything.

Jeeper i know that set up is going to be real nice,as i use a similar set up to roll my tools into places to work on the forklifts.there are some set ups(i beleive Milwaukee ) that have interchangeable boxes that lock together so you can grab whatever is needed. I still use my rolling big bag i set up with internal compartments , but now that im into stock class , its getting crowded. Hope it works for you.

I have an ancient Redz roller gear bag that I bought for a few bucks used. I'd never spend $150+ on one of the paintball-specific roller bags, but if you can find one used they're really nice to own.

Besides the roller bag, I have some Plano padded plastic cases for guns not in my regular rotation. Got them from Walmart for like $8 years ago.

I got my Redz bag well over a decade ago through a team I played on, other than some of the plastic "Redz" tags rotting off the zipper it's still in great shape.
