I've been browsing the archives and...

Working on a project that involves going through a bunch of old collection and BST posts. What I've come to determine is this Buzzard:

is absolutely the MCB town bicycle lol. It pops up in SO many peoples hands at various points that I almost feel a little left out haha.

Was there something wrong with it? I remember it going around and I almost snagged it. Beautiful looking gun

Nope nothing wrong with it. Magageddon shot me in the throat with it just fine at Slims spring game lol. It’s a beautiful marker well cared for especially for the amount of hands it’s been through. The fade is really nice on it.

So I owned it for 2 years, functionally it worked great, got great efficiency, and just looked awesome. I think the reason it gets passed around as much as it did was that it was a non vsc mini buzzard. Not having a bucket changer for a foregrip made it kinda eh, but thats a personal preference. The one thing that I hated about it was the feed tube not being center. These guns are all custom and aren't gonna be 100% the same parts wise. The U shape on top of the feed tube where you could attach a ghost ring wasnt a 100% centered. The tube site mount was skewed slightly to the left. If you aimed like normal your shot would go slightly left. The way to aim with this one is to use the right side dove tail groove as your center line and then it was just a straight money shooter, had some very accurate shots with that gun at range, often times threading a ball through a 1'x1' hole at 30-40 yards no problem.
When I sold it, I ended up selling it back to the guy I had originally gotten it from. It had 3 inserts, a velocity tool, and different grips. Those grips pictured are on my 1911 now lol.
Also the barrel was a 16", 14" is what I normally run and being a buzzard with the barrel OD the way it is, that was the only barrel you could use.

I remembered witnessing one or two of those incredible shots. This was such a cool gun!

Now as far as town bikes go, I used to own this about 4 or 5 years ago and by then it had made the rounds a bunch lol. It was a palmers Paladin with red parts. I remember the wedgits were super tiny, around a 670, so anything bigger was get barrel breaks. I remember using it at my local field at the time which was a byop field and had some valken fate that bored at 670 or below and with that it was money, any other paint and the gun was a blender and borderline unusable. I actually traded it back to the guy I got it from a year later lol
