Low pressure Stabilizer questions

What bits are needed to change the Stabilizer to low pressure operation? Can I simply source the correct spring? I remember Palmer used to offer a kit for this. I have an extra Stabilizer ready to go.

I'd like to put together another setup akin to this one:

Oof! 200 psi is a very tough number for Spyders. I've done it once but could not get the marker to reliably cock. At 200 psi it would be better to use the balanced valve. That's not something I had in the plans, however it could be done. Ideally I'd like to be between 250 and 300 psi.

Perhaps I'll give them a call and find out what all I need.

I have used a female Stab on my Ion without any difficulty (150psi or so)... to the best of my knowledge it was a standard output reg.

That pressure range shouldn't be an issue, though... 300psi is close to the middle of the adjustment range of a standard Stab.

the pressure vent mechanism is different for the different pistons, dimensionally they are the same tho iirc.

If PPS isn't working out, I'm sure we can figure out the correct die spring with a little work. The vent shouldn't be too much of an issue if you're not trying to protect a solenoid, and any change in thickness can be addressed with a shim. It's probably just to fit a wider vent valve.

how much do the balance valves go for these days? i might have one floating around.
and im kindda surprised no one uses the neo power valve...

Unsure on the balance valve value. I'd guesstimate $25 - $30. There aren't many doing balanced valve conversions anymore and it's tough finding the valve on its own.

Not many Neo valves around either for that matter. Neat valves for sure. There are some NOS ones on the 'Bay.

I know the kit had a spring and a piston. Granted I got mine 20 years ago so not sure if things change over time but I know the LP went above 200 as I run my sniper at about 220psi and there was still room on it to go up. I also remember a lot fewer options then though.
