Quality difference between Crosman 12g Manufacturers?

Firstly, I know that Leland is the gold standard for 12g, but I don't use 12gs enough to justify the quantity it would take to make bringing them into Canada worthwhile. Crosmans are plentiful locally and typically priced the lowest.

A couple years ago I bought a box of Crosmans and they were made in the US. Earlier this year I bought another box from the same store and they were all made in China. A few weeks ago they were on sale so I picked up another box and they were made in Hungary (a mix of Chinese and Hungarian were on the shelf).

Pictured below are 12gs from all different manufacturers. From left to right it's: China, China, Hungary, US. Most of the Chinese ones in the box had dimples in the cap (as shown in pic 2, #2), while some were flat. I'm not sure if this relates to the fill in any way.

Has anyone here noticed particularly good/bad results from Crosmans depending on the manufacturer? Each box and individual cartridge is marked with country of origin. So far I've only used the US ones so I don't really have anything to go off of.

Since you have all four, please weigh them.

If you’re HARDCORE, vent them and weigh again.

If you’re DOUBLE PLUS HARDCORE, clean them with parts cleaner to remove the oil and then weigh them again.

I've already weighed and labeled the remaining 7 US produced ones I have. Not sure how much that will tell me because my scale seems to have an accuracy of approximately +/- 2g.

Are you anywhere near Alexndl? He often hops the border for the spring/autumn stock class games that Slim puts on, we could send him home with a buttload of Lelands.

I play a lot of stock class and generally use Mosa or Leland, but I have used plenty of Crosman without issue. I will occasionally find a dud cartridge and they have a bit more oil to dirty internals, but they are fine for most folks, especially if you aren’t playing a lot of 12g. I have used USA and China based Crosmans without issue, but it’ll depend on what changer you are using as some are more fickle than others.

I got a box of ICO from amazon @ $1 each. Better deals are out there, but I haven't had any of the issues I've had with crosmans.

I don't use Crossmans unless that's all I can find, some changers just don't like them, i like the daisy powerline 12 grams never had a problem with them

the 12 grams with the lip at the top of the neck always give me a fit so I stay away from any 12 gram like that also

One thing I've noticed with Crosman's is if it's the style on the right at least 5 out of every 40 are either duds or low fill, but the style on the left doesn't seem to have that issue
