What is your "always pack" or "never again" for big games/scenarios and/or camping?

A question I have though, on a typical 2 day scenario, how many marker's do y'all stick to using, assuming no malfunctions? I feel like every time I go to a big game (Ok, I'll be honest, most recball days too), I bring 3-4 markers for variety and backup/peace of mind, but realistically, I am only using 1 or 2.

Honestly I always used one marker. Granted I never owned an electro until last year… and I never used it and am trying to sell it now.

big battles may justify taking out an marker with a higher rate of fire but most people really stuck to one marker when I was active. If I ever make it back out I may use a cocker for the general play and then switch to my mag that can RT hard for final battles but just personal preference.

oh and a bit tangential but pro tip on the hotels, if you don’t normally stay at them, get one of the credit cards that gets you points, a lot of times you can get them where you get free nights or a bunch of points if you spend X in the first few months. You pay have to pay a fee for the card every year but you usually get a free night for the fee (which is less than the night would cost) as well as some bump on the status level. Then when you have those points/free nights split the room with a friend and give them a deal on it so they save money over splitting the cash value and you off set your cost of the event.

I pretty much have my setup how I want it.

My camping setup consists of;
hammock and associated stuff to hang it, all in 1 box
quilts, both over and under
hitch extender in case there isn’t 2 trees to hang from
pod rocker chair
10x10 canopy
6’ table
Dewalt folding work table
for cooking I’ll bring some combination of, flat top grill, small gas grill, small deep fryer, 2 propane tanks
cooking utensils, plates, plastic cutlery, all in 1 box
bug spray
wipes
food cooler, rtic 52 qt lightweight
beer cooler, rtic 30 can soft cooler

Clothes;
socks for sleeping in
clothes for after game
crocs
socks and underwear for second day playing
I’ll usually wear the same pants both days
shirt for second day
towel
toiletries bag

I store my hammock and cooking utensils in Ridgid pro gear boxes. Hammock gear is in a medium box and cooking utensils are in a small box. I also use them for my paintball gear, large roller, small tool box, a crate and I also have the cooler.

Paintball gear doesn’t change from a normal day, 3-4 guns, 2 tanks, a few hoppers, sack or 10 round tubes, joyride pack, a few pods, 2-3 masks, ryobi fan for drying masks, tool box, bounce cap

One thing I've started packing recently are different color velcro arm bands, most fields for big games use cheap colored tape that usually sweats off my jersey or just become a sticky pain in the ass. Velcro arm bands are the way to go, I have: red, yellow, green, and blue ones, they seem to be the most common team colors for most events.

For the budget OG outlaw woodsball people, a trip to the local "Dollar" store will get a red/blue bandana combo for about a dollar. A few dollars and you've got 2 teams ready to go....sans velcro. 😉

yeah, see, what had happened was, I left my tape on my old cop911 tac vest for oh say 14 years in storage... that wasn't fun to clean off and still has residue on it haha.

I've been bringing a battery pack and a big fan recently. It makes down time really enjoyable.

I picked up a Ryobi misting fan two years ago that goes over a 5 gallon bucket. I also picked up a Scepter 2.5 gallon water jug for carrying water.
When it is humid and 90+ deg. temp outside, it makes such a difference under the Ez-Up tent.
I couldn't get a standard 5 gallon Jerry can under the cover of my truck, but the smaller ones are great.

This year I also picked up some screw-in tent stakes for the tent.
So much easier using the impact gun to put the stakes in than hammering away at them.
And it uses the same batteries as the fan.
