Does anyone make a low profile metal elbow? I think there would be a market for this. I have one of Sconi's leaning elbows but I feel a straight one that is as low profile as reasonably possible would be great. Perhaps we can get enough of us together to convince someone to produce something.

I'm with you, Sconi's lean elbow rubs me the wrong way. I couldn't get used to it.
I would definitely buy the exact same product, just not leaning.
If you have a RF and patience you can get the Mozak offset vert mod done to a RF cocker. I can't recommend this strongly enough for a RF cocker that you really like. It gets the hopper low and you can still sight right down the top.

It seems that some vendors are responsive to MCBers and it may be possible that someone out there would make these if a bunch of us showed interest. Perhaps Sconi would? I think these would sell relatively well. I imagine Sconi has a lot of the necessary CAD information to adjust his from tilted to straight.

I love the Sconi leans...but only on certain markers. On my mag it is absolutely perfect, and on my cocker it feels great.
On my shoebox shocker....not so much. That gun is just too bulky and unwieldy, and the lean angle of the Sconi just makes it even more awkward to use.
If someone does a run of low profile elbows with no lean I'd definitely want at least one.

Heres a welded aluminum unit I made in the shop almost 15 years ago. held on with set screws
i was actually copying a design that i had bought on ebay but those elbows were taller
i could buy some 1" pipe, fab a jig and make
more.
the set screw style would be super easy but itd be real nice to make both ends clamp like the sconi.
i have a spare sconi ive been thinking about chopping into a 45° too
