We all know why you really clicked on the title...

Experimenting with the emek again. Trying to put a set screw in the tip of the spool shaft. Turns out that little blue piece is an insert so I couldn't thread that. Took it out then needed to drill out a bit more to get to a 10-32 acceptable size. First one I drilled a little too far. Not sure where the rest of it went. Probably across the room in frustration. The second one I managed to thread but only after realized that I bent the shaft a bit so it's likely dead.

Then after all that reviewed the design a little more. Found an animation of the firing cycle and realized my idea may not even work after all

Kinda reminds me of an anti roll back mod, but I don't think modern markers need them do they especially not a PE marker

Trying to create a full auto emek with adjustable bps.

The current aftermarket mod is to bypass the o ring near the back of the spool. My idea is to do the same thing but use the spool itself to run the air. I can put a screw through the side of it that will act as a flow control. Problem is the whole spool is basically a straw so I need to cap both ends first.

One problem i realized last night (besides the obvious threading issues) is the marker actually uses air from the breach, down the spool shaft and into the can at the back to help reset everything. Now there also is a spring back there doing basically the same thing so I think this is could still work but I would rather not take away that channel if I don't have to

I'm moving on from this and going to try and run an external air line. Use a tippmann RT banjo fitting to do the flow control so everything internal will remain stock but I'll guide the air from the rear of the spool into the dump chamber externally and using the RT screw will have adjustable external control

Simon designed this into the SMP bodies so that the tippmann banjos/flow control will work.

No! I didn't know that, but also not looking for mag feed right now

Did he run the line through the bottom of the body? Obviously I'm not seeing anything external and the first few things in Google don't even say it's full auto from the factory

He did not sell them as full autos. He just provided a place for someone to mount those items should they decide to do so.
