Has anyone used the Tippmann Stryker? It seems like it's just a modified Ion/SP1 bolt system. Is it a flaming dumpster fire, or do they actually shoot? lol

Man I had forgotten about that. Wasn't it in like pre production delay pergatory for a long time or was that something else?

I haven't heard a peep about it at any rate

I think you might be thinking of the Tippmann Raider, which was basically the bastard love child of the Tippmann Stryker and the Empire DFender, but totally mechanical.

They did get released, but not with much fanfare. You can still buy them from ANuS gear and eBay. There were a few other sellers on eBay when I bought mine two years ago, but now it seems there's only one. Also ANuS is now selling them for nearly half-price. Probably just trying to get rid of them as they're taking up space.

Rumor was that a fire at a factory in China, combined with COVID-19, ended up delaying them till everyone forgot about them. The fact that they were finicky, bulky, and quite possibly the worst trigger pull of any paintball marker I've ever shot, didn't help.

Oh dang I forgot about the stryker!! I sold a handful of them. Don’t think any of them came back, which is a good sign. I thought they were pretty decent for what they were. Probably the best gun tippmann ever made, tbh.
