Just think of the benefits! If you have two different markers, you only have to bring one barrel! You can underbore and overbore at the same time! You can... I dunno, screw two markers together and make a really big mess of both of them! Be the life of the party! Order now! Operators are standing by!

(For those wondering just what I'm on about, I was setting up the CNC to run some old-style Freak tips. I was using some scrap material to test and adjust, and ended up with this:



Not really intentionally, it's just what you end up with after a couple cut-and-try cycles. So of course I had to try it. Anybody want it? I'd love to see somebody actually using it on the field. )

I used to have a photo somewhere, of a 14" or so barrel, made of an 8" Armson, and a stack of LAPCO adapters. It actually shot surprisingly well.

In this case, with a couple of custom adapters, I have no doubt we could put together three-foot, twenty-piece barrel if we really wanted.

So I know this is meant as a joke but isn’t this Essentially what people are doing with the different bore sized barrel kits? Like inception tips have a range of different diameter tips. Hell I know for FSR one company makes a series of tips that slowly taper down, the idea was that the FSR have slowly gotten smaller with time and caused eccentric spinning resulting in “wingers”.. the idea of the taper was that it would put the FSr back into a concentric spin after it had been brought up to fps and rpm.. they charged $200 for the kit… CRBN created a barrel that used a rifled back and a freak insert in the front to try to do the same thing and was served a cease and desist by the forementioned company(although that was about complying the rifle pattern).

I’d like to see a marker attached to each end. Shoot both markers, ramping preferred, and see which marker glitches first.

It’ll be like attaching two drills together. A fight to the end.

I’d bet a Planet Eclipse gamma core marker would win.
