Bad experience with Frank Newman / Pro Killer PB

Bad experience / gross unprofessionalism with Frank Newman / Pro Killer Paintballl

This past Friday I purchased a Cocker late at night, on a deal that seemed a little too good to be true right off the bat. I purchased it off his website: prokillerpaintball.com, and after I paid through PP, I noticed the gun was still being shown as available on the website and I could still submit payment for it … and since they are closed on the weekend I couldn’t follow up over the phone until Monday. But yesterday Monday rolls around, and they never reply to my emails, one e-mail to the website email and another to the gmail account linked to their PP, and the phone listed on the site goes to answering … finally, by around 2:30 pm, had enough and I opened a PP claim, and then finally Frank answers the email indicating that the gun was in fact sold. He says “there is nothing sketchy about his website” then the next sentence is literally “I am issuing a refund because the marker is sold” … and as of right now the gun is still listed and you can submit a payment for it…

I shit you not. And it’s still up on the website right now and you can “buy it”. It doesn’t sit well with me especially sicne I tried to contact them all day yesterday and he didn’t respond until I filed the PP dispute.

I know that seems stupid and irrelevant to some people but I’m very rarely ever ripped off online and my eBay account is 24 years old. You have to pick the right dirtbags to buy your junk from. Thats fundamental.
The guys is a boomer, no offense to any boomers — but a lot of the marketing and naming hasn’t aged well. Like Bunkerking’s “We Kill Suckers” slogan. What were we thinking. To be fair, I dont think you can put too much weight on the name. He could’ve just as well been extremely professional and upstanding with a name like that. It comes down to the person. Just my opinion.

                Lol

I like Bunkering. The old BK, pre virtue buyout. But you know they changed it to “We Kill” recently? Or at least I saw some new packs with just “We Kill”

I don’t understand the point of doing this? Are there people who are so unorganized with their finances that they will buy something and just forget about it?

I don’t see how it’s a scam vs just a total waste of time. It’s not like the money is sitting in an account collecting interest or something. It’s not like you can just keep the money today and not send the product. I just don’t see the benefit on the seller it’s a lot of work just to get an email address.

              Are they farming personal info?

              What is the point?

Frankly, I think it’s unprofessionalism and lack of good judgment. For one, he should be respectful of people’s time …

He should he respectful of people’s time. You know with the correspondence and calls and then having to deal with a PP claim when there shouldn’t be any reason for it.

And as a business owner why would you have such a shoddy e-commerce website. It’s also lack of good judgement and poor management.
