Here's an odd one I've been trying to get used to lately- it's a See-All open sight. I saw Manike using one on some of his EMF builds, and once I found a used one for the right price, was tempted to try it for myself. Like an Armson it's unpowered, but the objective lens is totally exposed. I've found it to be fiddly to attach to most picatinny rails and more difficult to pick up the dot (or in this case, triangle and chevron) than my other sights but maybe I just need to get more used to it.

now that's wild. It's unpowered, but it doesn't look like an occluded sight?

Does anyone else have the shared concern where a red dot shot dead on would trash it? Maybe its just me because I seem to frequently get shot on the feedneck.

I only ever use equipment that im OK with messing up. Would only use a cheap red dot. If it breaks... meh

I've had the lens shot out of one of my $20 red dots, but it didn't shatter - I just had to glue it back in later and then re-zero it.

More common is to get flecks of paint on the lens or across the emitter, which is always a pain to clean out.

My Armson, on the other hand, has taken over a dozen direct hits with no damage.
