    Tracking down old markers

We buy and sell throughout the years. Either as tastes change, finances change, or life changes.
Has anyone ever sat and wondered ‘I wish I could find XYZ again.’ Or ‘I should have never sold ABC..’
I wish I knew where my Titanium E2 Karni went, or that Bob Long, or my black and green 2K9 MM.
I recently tracked down my Warp Sportz Dark Alias and the guy thinks his brother still has it. That got me thinking about where some of my past collection has gone.

Years ago I sold my first real PB gun, a Phantom. Considering how little they are worth it was kind of dumb in hindsight.

My first real marker was a 2002 wgp black magic in polished red. I was able to save and buy it from working when it was released. I was able to move to an oracle e-blade around 04-05, that was my main marker until I got out of the game in 09. Recently I was able to pick up some of the markers I could only dream of having as a kid. I got a Docs Warriors shocktech cg2, and a half block racegun. I wouldn't mind picking up another e-oracle. Cant wait to hit the field again.

Mine would be a 98 sto that I had. It had gone to BBT. And gotten their full treatment. Lots of milling. It was a unique piece. Got offered crazy money so I sold it. Immediately was reposted in pieces. The buyer decided to part a matching custom ano gun with several barrels.

Same thing happened to the BPS Twiister I had. Again a matching gun with many extras. I do know where the body ended up.

          Every frikkin' day.

I've had so many cool guns through my hands over the years, that I was more or less forced to sell just to keep the lights on and the cat fed...

Just a sampling, and doesn't count the guns I still have, or any one of the innumerable customer guns that have come through the door.

Thanks Soups, but I'm working on another as we speak, and somewhere around here, I have a box of bits and half-finished parts for one of my own. It's very nice to see, however, that that one is still up and running- and presumably occasionally used.

If that is one of the two from the above picture, it's close to 20 years old.

            Doc.

Back in college I dabbled in tournament paintball with a WGP Worrlock. I’d love to have back!

I had a center feed shocker 2k2, blue fade with an orb frame. I miss that.

I had a center feed pgp that fit a pocket hopper just perfect. I miss that.

i also miss a pinkish purple power feed ptp fx cocker that I’d like to find another one

I had a matching red anodized stock class phantom that I sometimes wonder where it went. Also an Eclipse FT autococker with a CCM pump kit that I sold a long time ago, that had a dye logo shaped spot on the side where a previous owner had a sticker for apparently a long time.

The only one I ever had regrets about was when I traded some kid my nerve for his fusion. The fusion had some sort of issue so I convinced the kid to trade back. I also regretted it instantly, so the issues were a convenient reason to fix that regret. After that I figure there isn’t enough financial value to be worth selling it or trading it. My kids can deal with it at my estate now. Even if it’s just a talisman from my youth.

now I’ve had others come and go. While I have nostalgia about a few of them, I don’t regret selling/swapping them. Well only that I sold my classic rt about for a fraction of what they sell for now. Should have held onto that one for another year before letting it go.

I got very lucky when I sold my bushmaster with Zenitram parts at the end of highschool to my best friend at the time. After college when I started playing again I hounded him endlessly to buy it back and he eventually gifted it back to me as a wedding gift.

It's never leaving my hands again.

I regret maybe three or four

My first custom cocker.... Machined by me in highschool and annoed by PK gloss orange with silver splash everything matched

Another cocker I made that was my first attempt at half blocking..... It was a customer build and was an interesting gun blue to copper fade. I've never seen it turn up

Thirdly.... My center feed hounds tooth

Fourth..... Navarone bushmaster that had a Carter barrel and one off extra stock class body.

Totally miss my Warped Sports Prism Autococker, origially purchased in it's basic form, for $1100 from the Warped Sports Strore at the Hunt Valley Mall in Hunt Valley Maryland, run by Chris Cole (yes, a paintblal store in a mall).

Later upgrades done by me include the WGP Swing Trigger, Chris Cole Screw in Bolt, angled ASA Mount, Belsales Bullet 3-way, Black Magic Regulater, and other stuff.

In 2009 I traded it for a Purple Alien Abduction Angel, which I foolishly sold in 2011 (I want that one back also...).

My minimag I purchased just after they were released in 1992?. stolen from my trunk decade later. I coper plated it. Looks like this one Doc posted. I've never seen another coper plated one.
