Ok confused here. Unless I'm reading this wrong it looks like mcs is now sending a "safety delete switch" with the hellfire valve.

So let's recap, the emek from the factory does not have a on/off ASA. Mcs now wants you to install something to make it full auto and also remove the safety at the same time? Wtf? That means you will have live, full auto markers sitting in the staging area with hopefully a barrel cover on them but nothing else

I really hope I'm missing something here because they don't sell the safety delete switch on it's own so I can't find any info past it's name

Yeah wtf, who asked for this and why were they listened to? And to make it worse the the kit also has a lightend trigger spring making accidental discharges more likely.

Safety delete switch was always included in the hellfire. It’s not MCS’s product, they are just a reseller.

They stopped including those after a while

I've had plenty of markers without safeties as well, the difference is they have always had some form of on/off ASA. And none of those have been full auto either

The only safety I use is the one on my Ion rifle, as there is no trigger guard at all and its basically a hair trigger. Other than that, just keep the booger hook off the bang switch.

Just use a squeegee in the barrel in the pit area, I have seen a barrel sock get shot off accidentally

If you're buying one of these you probably already have an adjustable trigger and most people set that so short the safety doesn't work anyways.

It's not about your finger though. If a marker flops on the ground in the staging area a semi auto fires one shot, with a hellfire it could just keep going until someone finally picks it up

Yeah I have as well that's why there's always a minimum of 2 methods of stopping paint from coming down my barrel in the staging area. Barrel cover is one and typically the other is either turning a e marker off or a mechanical safety.

I disagree, the emek safety is fairly good. You would have to set the trigger up to activate on the very extreme front end of the pull. Most people like it more in the middle. I'm not saying it's not possible to to that but for the average player the safety does exactly what it's supposed to do.

We all moved away from barrel plugs for a reason, this just feels very irresponsible for a company to do

Seems like a stretch. Most people don’t use safeties. Barrel cover and finger off the trigger. There isn’t a reason why a full auto emek is going to run away even with a light trigger. Even if it’s bump fired or dropped it’s just going to shoot and reset the trigger. That’s what the barrel covers for.
