I have one spire ir, and almost a dozen revvies. I'll use a revvy for anything.

I like my Vmax+. Doesn't feed nearly as fast as Valken claims but seems pretty durable and easy to take apart. Plus it's only a little heavier than a revvy and a bit trimmer. I found mine NOS for $45 which I thought was pretty good deal.

The only revvy lid I had a problem with was a brass eagle era one that got shot off the very first game I had it. I've had pre and post BE revvys since and the lids are much more durable.

I will suggest two- the Revolution and the Protoyz Speedster from PE. The Revvy needs no explanation as to why it's so good. It's praises are widely known and sung of here.

The Speedster is a solid option. I did a fairly extensive review, with lots of pictures, a while back. Here, for your reading: https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/p...eedster-review

It's performance suggests it can keep up with NXL ramp. There is a video link (not mine) 80% of the way through the review that demonstrates it. The only real drawback I can find with the loader is it's heavy. Heavier than a Dye Rotor. But it also has the largest capacity of any hopper I own and a VERY large feed mouth on it. Pretty easy to load without looking. So there's pros and cons.
Bottom line: If you don't mind the weight and size, it's a fantastic loader for the price. It's pretty much a Revvy on steroids.

If you don't need something that can take a missile strike then I like the HK Army Sonic. Fast (easily keeps up with NXL ramp), VERY light, and takes only one 9V battery. The only downsides, aside from the stupid HK branding itself, are that it's a very small loader (I believe my review stated only 174 balls) and I don't know how the feedneck will hold up to super hard play. But I've had no issues with the feedneck and it's been my most-used hopper for the last year and a half or so. My HK Sonic review: https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/p...ng-form-review

One other thing I saw with the HK Sonic, you have to shoot it almost dry to get a whole pod. This was one of the primary reasons I went for the ir2 over the Sonic.

If you’re using a speedfeed, yes. And also, don’t try any pod advertising a 160rd capacity. It’s not gonna fit unless you run it almost out, even with the standard lid.
