    Guns/Gear Falling In Purgatory

Been working on my Poo build as well as getting some guns and gear ready for Christmas gifts and notice that my Automag had really fallen in my collection to the point where I have no love for it. Curious if anyone else has a similar issue? You get a gun you’re excited about but it just drops to the lower ranks of your collection and into paintball purgatory.

I tend to have the opposite problem of loving them all so much I find it hard to give them the attention they deserve. Probably why I bring 8-12 of them to the field at a time, when I go.

I've got a few right now that I'm trying to regain interest in... but they might end up for sale in the New Year if I can't.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Yes, and it was mags as well. They were THE marker I was into, I had tons, buying and selling all the time. I built some beauties and even got a raw Shockwave build when those came I out, but lost interest before I got to an anodizer. Sold all of them off except my first. Used the money to buy real steel and start that passion.

Yes.... Unfortunately it seems of it wasn't something I personally built I've come to hate it.

I come up with new ideas or get turned on by something new so fast that I rarely manage to finish projects. Personal shame. My pile of purgatory is pretty deep.
            So, short answer: yes.

I have several guns that are like that. Though most of them need something before I can take it to the field anyways. Phoenix emag that needs the level 10 installed. Black magic pump that needs a new screw. Pile of weird tippmanns that need detents and lube.

Realized that it's easier to just take the one or two guns that work and put off fixing up all the fun weird stuff. Hoping over the winter to finish projects and actually use several this year.

Yep, same here dude. Its a mag build too. It's partly because I'm some what new to them. Currently looking for a mag whisperer for-hire.

                    Basically all my electros haha.
Rarely play non-mech or pump these days and if I do, the LV1 just shoots too good to pass it up. Not worth much, so not worth the hassle of selling them. Mostly they get pulled out a few times a year for friends who want to come play and don't have any gear or anything that actually works.

Used to happen all the time. But now I’m acquiring basically everything I want for a wall & nothing else. Right now I only have 2 or 3 that I’d have little problem with putting up for sale.

The worst one for me was my Classic Automag. I LOVED that thing & used it a lot when a wonderful local gentleman gave it to me maybe 12 years ago. Added upgrades over the years. I then started using it less and less. I began getting into cockers and more stacked-tube setups in general and I hadn’t used it for a few years in-game, so I sold it a couple years ago. I still feel bad for selling it, especially since it was a gift. I should have given it away...
I’ve since given away a couple paintguns to try and make up for it. But I feel like I still have a ways to go.
