Haven't posted in a long time but.... Games in Vermont area?

Long story short (as I feel like most my posts start these days...)

I got a job offer I can't refuse, in Vermont. Several states away.

Is anyone familiar with facilities in that area? I need/want to get back into playing, and a new state, new area, seems not a bad place to do it.

So while I need to finish repair of a pump, a pistol, and pps... Once I do, I'm exciting to start again.

Any places or recommendations (or if you're local please lemme know) would be appreciated.

    Thanks all!
    -Cassie Q.

New Hampshire has a few good spots AG, and OSG are good places to start. Thriving pump scene in the Northeast mostly focused around NH. They have pump days, and Slim's stockclass events hosted at AG several times a year. Checkout the Northeast section Riot usually makes a pump game schedule. Welcome back!

The Great Equalizer might still be running an outlaw group and is a great guy.
Depends a lot on where the job is. VT is awfully big for how small it is. Going there for a job, my first guess is your in the Burlington area, Colchester paintball looks to still be in business and was the only commercial field in the state when I left.
OSG and AG are fantastic to play at and make good day trips.

If you are in the southern part of the state APE in NY and Extreme PM in MA were both worth checking out in my opinion.

Lived in VT almost 40 years, not too long removed but feel free to shoot me a message if you have questions about the areas.

OSG in Barnstead NH or AG in Weare NH are going to be your best bet. We keep a large group of guys playing in NH all season long if you aint afraid to drive a little bit.

OSG is probably the best place on earth to play paintball if you're more focused on having fun and want to have a chill experience without sacrificing safety.

I am located 1 hour north of Vermont and go twice a year to Slim's games (stock classic and stocktoberfest). The next one is in May. If you play stockclass, we are around 50-60 players each year and it's a lot of fun.

Which part of VT? I used to live all the way on the Mass border many moons and years ago. NH has many fields that probably wont be too far for you.

            Y'all are lovely, thank you!

So the job is indeed in Burlington, I got head hunted by the violin shop there.

I'm kind of loving how not far everything is... Compared to Michigan (granted in like 20 min from Hell Survivors but I digress..).

My last puzzle piece is finding a place to live there, that allows a cat. If anyone has any pointers.... I'm all ears (but that's not pb related).

I'll reach out at some point to those that said I could, thank you!

Anything in the city is likely unaffordable. If it's in the city and affordable make sure you do check out the neighborhood.
If you get out of the city a POV is pretty much mandatory.

I'd definitely look outside the city and check the area first.

OSG and AG look like they're 2.5-3 hours from Burlington. Xtreme in Agawam, MA is about 3 hours as well.

As Nish said I am sort of running an outlaw group in that I've been trying to revive the outlaw group Nish used to run when he lived here and we had permission to use a place in Barre. We may have a place to play near Hinesburg, which isn't far from Burlington, but we only played one game a few years ago before various life events got in the way. I was just talking to the friend who's friends with the owner of the property last week. Hoping I get some more news soon.

We also have a small field in Woodbury, but I couldn't seem to get anyone who used to play to actually drive out there for a game.

The local commercial field is Colchester Paintball. Its speedball focused with the same pallets and spools they've had since I was a ref at a competing field in the early 2000s. I'd love to get a group together to do (1) private limited paint games (pump, stock, mag-fed, 50rnd hopper etc.) (2) to donate some labor and collected materials to build an interesting field.

I have been trying to get to some NH games a few times a year. Alexndl provided the best resources for the stock and pump games. I seem to manage to hit either a spring or fall event, but I haven't managed both in a few years.

I'm also maybe helping to host a game in southern Vermont this spring that could certainly use more people.
          Working...
