    12 Gram Changers and Seals

Been falling in love with Stock Class setups and got my self a Bucket Changer and a Dropout Changer.

I think these are both RAP4 changers.... Doesn't seem to be alot of options out there like their use to be...there is CCI and these RAP4 products. ICD makes some i guess but there are crazy expensive and I guess they do small runs only.

Now, its been two decades since I played with 12ies - however I had issues with both seals flying out of the puncher pin on my changers. I don't remember this being a persistent issue back Then. .... I'm pretty competitive when I play meaning I will change 12ies if I feel its the best time to do so...I don't want to drain a 12 gram completely just to avoid blasting out a seal and wasting paint lobbing weak shots. Anyway, Is this common for everyone else as well? Or just a product of a cheap product (RAP4 Changers).

Would a CCI Seal and or a Cross man seal work as a replacement? Are there maybe non-paintball specific brands that sell these seals? any insight is helpful.

CCI bucket changers are superior to others, both in build quality and speed of threading. I have never had a CCI seal fly off on me. I would assume a CCI seal would fit, but it may not solve the problem if the issues is with the changer itself and not the seal.

Extreme velocity switched to a hard nylon seal for their 12g changers. I don't personally care for it.

PgpJunkies makes a replacement that has worked well for me so far.

Sconi also has a quad lead threaded changer. Just as fast as a CCI changer but cheaper.

I knew there was a newer one, but I couldn't remember who made it. Nice.

Nice, seems like a decent price point as well.

Just bought a pack of those seals from PGP Junkies hoping they fit, I appreciate the recommendation.

Earlier bout a new CCI piercing assembly off ebay, I'm interested to see if that swaps out with the piercing assemblies on these inexpensive changers.

CCI and Rat Attack are my favorite bucket changers. They are a bit more cost wise but are better quality.

I have swapped CCI piercing pin assembly's into a few different changers.

      The Crap4 buckets are trash.

Let me know what you think of it. How it compares to a CCI

Chuck. My bucket changer showed up today. I've never tried a cxi, but I'm willing to bet this thing will rock.

The bucket is fully disengaged in 2/3 of a turn.
