I did a thing today. Happy to share details with anyone who wants to replicate this

To do this get your hands on a couple of tippmann fittings. One banjo and one flow fitting for a RT. Measuring from the back of the aluminum body tube drill your holes at 0.9" and 2.0" (you don't need to be super exact with those measurements) thread for 10/32. Make sure to clean up burs on the inside of the body with a needle file and you will need to grind down the fittings a little so they don't stick into the inner tube and make it so you can't get the bolt in. Other than that just make sure the flow control is the back fitting.

Simon did this with emf bodies several years ago. He even sold them with set screws installed on the side for this reason.

Pretty sure it is this body kit.

I've heard that. I have yet to see anyone actually use them though. It doesn't make a huge amount of sense in a EMF though since those are typically used as mag feed. The body kit is for sure mag feed at least. So with a 20 round mag if it is set around 10bps you need to change mags every 2 seconds.

It does not! You can run it down the side or probably close to the frame if you want

Updated the first post with the simple instructions for you

I made a kit that mounted in the frame.. you had to gut the safety and the transfer block between the body and the OG switch… I had a company who wanted to buy the design but I required a person had to permanently mod their body themselves, and ultimately it wasn’t the best move.. on mine you could push the safety to turn on and off the full auto, and a set screw in the center of the safety switch controlled the flow.

Lol. Have fun. Watch for those burs and the length of the fittings so you can still get the bolt in and out

I think they should allow mech markers in the NXL with the electros. As long as it's semi auto only, unlimited rate of fire. Single or double trigger

That's cool stuff... To me, FA on an EMF doesn't make a lot of sense... Now, on an Emek might be different...

A 3-shot burst on an EMF would make more sense, as long as it was switchable. on/off...

Yeah I agree, running mags and assuming FSR is an odd choice to want FA that will blow through $20 in 2 seconds

My brother runs his EMF as hopper feed so for him that might make sense

Yes but not everyone has a bunch of markers

I need to get me one of those magfeds so I can play with frist strike rounds.
Is there a reason you don't have any sort of optic on it?
