USPS idiocy strikes again

Check out this ridiculous tracking history. I bought a loader from a buddy in a neighboring state. The clerk mistyped my zip code, and fat fingered a Florida zip. It's been bouncing between two facilities in Florida for weeks. He submitted a lost package claim, and it actually got back to my state before getting flung back to Florida... I've lost hope.

Wow, I had a good one a few months ago but thats next level. You can actually call them and they will trace it and put it on track. It's actually easy and has worked for me several times

I have never seen anything close to that bad! After the lost package claim and it headed north I did not see that twist of it heading back to the south. It was like reading an M. Night. Shyamalan movie!

I had a bag of weed shipped to Alaska from a friend in California back in 2003, that was a nerve racker… It didn’t show up on time, not returned to sender, no tracking info on that one. About six weeks later it finally showed up in a nice fresh package from usps with a sorry note that the packaging was damaged in shipping and they repacked it. Cheers!

I had one a few years ago do similar turned out that the ebay seller used a small flat rate box but priced the shipping as whatever the cheapest was. So it was postage owed and getting kicked buy the system only to be caught and sent again elsewhere in the system.

Thanks to a reddit post, I found how to actually speak to a person. So I did that and all she said was to file a missing mail search, again... LOL

Wow. I had a priority package from TN to WA go to Puerto Rico first (so it was late) but that's ridiculous.

I tried to file another missing mail search, but since one already exists for the tracking number I can't do a new one. Maybe it will appear one day.

I just had a package go missing. After two weeks from when I submitted missing mail they sent me email response saying they consider it loss. File a claim. If found they will send the package back to me.

Some said they had the missing package show up 2 years later.
