Pro-Shar... Gonna be seeing more of this?

Went to the Sherwood Pirate Game 3 event last weekend and the paint we got was this...
Never heard of it till I started reading up here.
It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible.
Typical small paint, used a .679 insert and was getting a few roll thru.
Just surprised it came from the middle of nowhere (Kyrgyzstan).
Fill was bright and marked pretty good, but you could tell it was egg shaped.
Shell seemed ok, it broke good, didn't notice many bounces.
With Valken bankruptcy, I think this will be seen more.
Anyone else running into this?

Our field was running ProShar before the Russian/Ukrainian war started. Once that hit, it wasn't available. It was great paint at our field when it was fresh. I preferred it over the HK and GI paint that we have now. They have been around for a while.

I bought a case cause I heard good things, and the freshness is key. It shot great when I first got it, maybe a little brittle, but flew true. After sitting for a few weeks it was weepy and janky, def. not good storage paint.

I've heard good things but never used it.
Speaking of storability, I have some Graffiti that looks mint still.

One of the guys in my limited paint group used pro-shar stuff in a mech tourney a couple years ago, and hated it.

Went back to my local field this past weekend and they're still using GI Sports paint.

I shot a truckload of Pro-Shar during 2016-2019, usually their high grade paint. At that time it was a very good paint in all respects apart from being a bit small, although that had become the standard with all brands at that time.

I cannot vouch for how their paint is today, unfortunately, but if it is the same formula it should be good. I would gladly buy a box to try it out, but it isn't available over here any longer.

The tournament grade stuff shot well for me. I remember it was cheep to shoot and shot better then alot of paint available at the time. It didn’t store well because the balls were so full when the fill expanded it had nowhere to go so it would leak at the seems if you got it to hot. But if you kept it mid temp to cool it shot laser straight and broke nicely. But I found it had a pore shelf life as others mentioned. I took a bunch home after an event, and ran it in my pump for a while. It worked amazingly until it got hot or sat a while. Ended up throwing a case out. I don’t remember what event used it maybe an NXL or WBWC. But we had a bunch of leftover tickets we purchased so I took a bunch home and shot it a while. I know it was a 10 man event because it was bright pink fill maybe an ICC. I haven’t seen it in a while. Mostly GI or Valken in these parts.

We just got a pallet of America First, it shot and broke better than this blue box. But it will not last long in Florida. By the end of the day it was back to shooting rubber.

Florida Humidity is crazy. It’s hard on all paint.
