Im looking to find out if barrel extensions were ever a thing, mainly for wgp thread. And as such with m/f threads to each end.
Were barrel extensions ever a thing?

Aye, though not sure they were produced in quantity. I had one from SuperStaunchy, I used it as a freak back so I could use a brass cocker barrel as the front. -
The only one I can think of is WWA, I have a WWA cocker to cocker freak adapter so it's like a freak back but instead of female freak tip threads it's cocker threaded, essentially it's a python compression kit/tech t ifit kit/warrior barrel sizer kit that takes freak inserts, tbh im surprised Doc hasn't made oneComment

It's been awhile since I heard WWA mentioned. I think I had one of their 1 piece barrels. -
Yeah I have a handfull of WWA parts from being here over the years I think I still have a shorty freak barrel tip, and a phantom feed I'm planning on getting anodized with a CCM project -
WWA, a decent airsmith, a terrible businessman.

LAPCO put out their breech sizers in the late-'90s, though they weren't much longer than one of their thread adapters.Comment

Lapco bore sizers and freak XL adapters. Any specific reason you would want a female cocker threaded barrel instead of just using a longer barrel or 2 piece autococker barrel? There are many autococker barrels that take 7/8 threaded accessoriesComment
