What happened to all the 2" HPA tanks?

Trbo323 Let me know how you end up carrying 10 mags. I've done it various ways with chest rig pouches and 2 dump pouches. Right now, I'm back to 6 in my chest rig and 1 in the marker. For me, carrying more than that was just too bulky.

I missed that you're using FSRs. Yes, that would control my trigger finger. FSRs aren't allowed at my local field, so I'm not too worried about going through all my mags in a game. Mostly playing with rentals and a few self-equipped guys ranging from pump to electro, so mag-fed for me is just a fun handicap.

I'm running the crbn mag pouches which hold the mags off of one of the short sides rather than flat against you holding the long side. Basically it turns holding the mags into a pod pack. I have 6 on my setup now and there's room for 3 more when I have the money and can actually find them

It dose look like they are sold out everywhere. I checked with my local pro shop and they sold out of all of there’s to.

Even the Air Gun sites are out. You can definitely find 17-18ci in 3k but all the 4.5k ones are gone.

they do have odd air rifle tanks designed for higher pressure but they are big $$$ and might not even use standard tank threads.

The 15ci says it has a 10 year hydrotest period and an unlimited lifespan. How?

The material is probably why it's unlimited lifespan. Unlike aluminum, steel does not have limited cycle capacity. As long as it stay within it's designed operating pressure, it will always pass hydrotest.

Ok. I missed that or was steel. Just too used to paintball where it's fiber wrap/carbon fiber for 4500 tanks

Yes I grabbed a Pow Air 15ci tank. Its been charged at 4k for 2 weeks now, no issues so far. Will be testing it out soon. It is very short even compared to a 15/45 CF tank.

I'm not 100% convinced it is a 15ci. Look at it next to a 13/3 and a 15/45.

Open it up and fill it with water… funny thing about volume is even a tiny change in diameter makes a huge change in volume.. plus with steel you can have a thinner wall thickness

Most likely wall thickness. Aluminum yield strength is a lot lower than steel. But it will be slightly lighter than steel for the same strength

I bit the bullet and got an HK one, I prefer the 36ci tanks however they really don't work well with the emf200.

I was incorrect.. I thought you were talking about an ISO cert fiber wrapped tank… those were/are advertised has having an unlimited lifespan

I snagged a used 13ci with a basic reg at cincinati for $40. Still in hydro too!

A First Strike 15/4500 popped up on ebay just recently, if anyone wants to look at it. The price is a bit high, since it will need a hydro next year. But I do like these tanks, I have been running one the last few weeks, quite the upgrade for my pump set-up. Tube Tank

not paintball or scuba specific but they'd probably work
