    Great Paint Alert

Picked up a couple cases of HK's "level 3 premier all conditions" paint for Bacci's this past weekend and it shot darts with a slightly thicker shell. very occasional rollout with a .684 Lapco bigshot, round as could be. Hecho in Mexico. Will get it again when I see it.

I've been exclusively shooting that for about 3 years now and really struggle when I have to shoot anything else.

I agree that its great paint, usually it's on the smaller side for me though, I get rollouts with a 0.682.

My local gets the HK paint and normally the 3. I have had great luck with it. Depending on weather and cocker or electro im using .680 to .685

My field stocked Social Grit this weekend. It shot incredible, broke easily. All these previous outings of poor pump play and come to find out it’s the paint. I had a shit-eating grin on my face driving away from the field Sunday.

Paint is the reason I quit playing pump. It's almost impossible to find a quality of paint that is good, during walk on play.
4 star usually works, but only one location had it. The rest of them was just junky field grade paint.

Same. Just Emek, one piece 689, forget about everything else. I mean, I'll always love pump, but if I actually want to play and not worry about gear due to junk paint, Emek solves that

That looks like the box for HK paint at a local group meetup last month. $72/case. Can't comment on how straight it can shoot because my aim is garbage, also not sure what bore size it needed since i was using open-bolt. The Inflicted was there, maybe he can chime in if we say his name 2 more times.

If you’re ordering paint online, the Proshar Voltanium from lonewolfpaintball has been really good the last couple orders.

No dimples, nice and round, bright pink shell that’s tournament brittle, doesn’t roll out of my 676 sizer

All I can get locally is the HK level 2 paint for $40 a case. I can't really complain, it's the same as $40 a case stuff I would get almost 20 years ago. Just a bit smaller, obviously. Probably a little better actually. About 80% of the randoms I grabbed were consistent enough with a .682 insert to not roll down the bore and required a gentle puff of air to blow the ball through the barrel. .684 is ever so slightly overbore if you prefer that. It's accurate as $40 paint can be with the occasional slight flyer through my Autococker and NXT Shocker.

Haven't tried it in my Phantom yet. I need to get with the times and stop using detent rings and get my barrel insert bored and detents added to the receiver.

I’ve been saying this for years. HK paint is fantastic.

oh yeah, i have gotten some of this in the fall.
shoots alright but it was small as hell. Sub 675. good to hear some of it has been bigger lately. 684 is very respectable.

I bought three cases of this stuff last year off ANS and ended up throwing away the third case. I’m clearly the odd one out in this thread, but this stuff was unshootable for me in any marker I tried. Barrel breaks galore and the ones that actually made it out were comically inaccurate.

I ordered GI one star the next time. That crap made it out of the barrel at least.
