Yeah, no argument there but at $20-40 value does it matter? You can get a whole other 98 and have whatever spare parts you need.
Tippmann is a shell of what it was. I can understand trimming down the product line but kore has gone so far that the tippmann name is irrelevant. Their strongest selling point was familiarity. The 98 being the first marker most players touched sold the brand on it's own. Even if getting the 98 to fields as rentals lost the company money I don't see how they didn't make that money back when players eventually purchased a tippmann as the first marker they owned. To me that seems like the most effective advertising campaign you could ask for. I'm betting kore came in and looked at a cost spreadsheet and decided the 98 and A5 were not profitable enough but a spreadsheet won't tell the whole story.
Makes me wonder how profitable the Cronus is that they kept it
