To pump or not to pump

I believe the Deadzone is the place for this but let me know if I’m wrong.

i picked up this WGP trilogy sport on eBay. I played Wolverine one Saturday with my mini gs and it was overkill in semi for the crowd. I have been playing some sundays and it is fine with the more experienced and skilled crowd. I’m stuck between getting this thing running or putting a pump kit on it. The only pump kit I have been able to find is the slice pump kit through Autococker parts. Is this a good option or is there something else out there I should check out? If the slice kit is the best option for me should I choose the not drilled or drilled option?

Slice kit is fine, there are adapters for regular 2k+ kits but not worth it imo.

Trillies are dirt cheap, and often pop up with simple pump kits, so I’d fix your gun into a cocker and snoop for a cheap trilly pump to pop up. This is how I have 50+ guns, like 30+ of them being projects

Oooh wait now here’s an idea… I had Xemon print me a couple pump assist kits for the trilogy. With a spare timing rod, you could make keep it easy to switch back and forth from semi to (assisted) pump

Pump that bad boy! Slice kits are great, slap one on and go play. I bring a bunch of guns everytime I go out but invariably end up playing mostly with a pump, especially if it's a mixed crowd... I think you will have more fun if you pump it. And as far as the drilled/not drilled option, kind of up to you... I prefer to play without an AT so not drilled would be my pick, but that's me.

          Pump is life! / Thread

Those make really great cockers as well so I don’t fault yah for leaving it alone. Only thing I would change is throw a nice gloss black Mozak slider with his new roller sear kit on that thing.

I’m going to grab that slice kit. Chuck E Ducky suggested a Mozak slider are there any others out there that cost less than what I paid for the marker? I have a freak xl for my 170R but I was looking at an inception design barrel back to convert my mini gs barrel to to PWR and run that on the cocker, any thoughts?

a benchmark frame comes to mind..... they are the..... benchmark for single finger sliders. usually around $150 BUT people shy away from tge chrome ones, ive been able snatch one for $70 in the past. another option is the composite wgp frames. they are prone to cracking but if you find a nice one, they are cheap (~$30) super light and imo, unbelievably smooth

NONOBLITUS that trilogy is looks amazing! I definitely want to put a single trigger and CP on/off ASA. Would you suggest a new regulator?

So this one was a sport model which never had a regulator on it and still does not. I run a gas through grip. It runs perfectly. You have the competition model there and they did come with a basic regulator. I have had that model and did run it with a ln upgraded regulator. Sooooo I guess stick with one I would assume.

First off, that's a Trilogy Competition not a Sport.

Second, I'll be the contrarian and say leave it mech. Of the 80 guns I've owned, my mech trilogy is my favorite. They're great shooters.
