My best guess is that they thought it was a firearm because of the case it was in? No idea other than that, and it would be cleared up pretty quickly by... y'know... opening the case...
Yeah gun case filled with what looks like suppressor baffles and all they see is âgun parts.â
My uncle borrowed a trailer hitch ball from me and tried to mail it back. It got confiscated because they thought it was a hand grenade or something haha. It eventually got back to me after a delay. Hope you get it backâŚ
Californias has laws against all barrels. It wouldnât even need to be a suppressor for them to deem it an illegal transfer of unregistered precursor parts
I made what could have been a huge mistake just a week or two ago. Customer ordered a barrel, I packed it, and then, later, when I had a few that were ready to go, I mailed it. The next morning, when I was printing postage for new orders, I found the label for it still in the printer.
I'd slipped a small package, with no label or identifying marks into the outside drop box.
I went right in and asked for it- and they still had it, but the guy that found it- I know him well- was an Iraq vet, and he said it gave him a bit of a start. He understood what happened, but told me there's places in the US, today, where they might have called in the bomb squad.
Hahahaha. I agree with all above. The 6 finger aluminum knuckles, the barrels that look like suppressors. Shark tooth animal trade. Who knows.
It does look like a giant bucket of illegal garbage for scumbags that anyone operating a X ray machine would probably confiscateâŚbut Iâm pretty sure itâs the âknucklesâ that got it nicked. There are 20 states where they are illegalâŚyouâre probably in, mailing to, or traveling through at least one of them.
Whats more is that these are the extra dangerous type for seven fingered foreignersâŚgotta confiscate those.
I donât know but ima find out when I get to the post office
Yes, Rivers bought the Barrel kit from me. Of course I didn't get the letter of intent to destroy package, but he did so I have to wait and see what can be done...

No no no, you got it all wrong, you size those knuckles to your fingers. Each hole is made a different size so you can use which holes match up to your fingers best.
You know, for best face breaking performance out of a thin wall aluminum knuckle duster.

Probably Californias new âghost gunâ precursor parts law. All gun barrels must be serialized and go though a FFL. Some over zealous employee probably thought they saved the world from multiple evil unregistered assault barrels
