    Interesting/unique bunkers & fields

What are some of the more uncommon bunkers/structures or otherwise entire playing fields that you have encountered? I wish I had a better contribution of my own, but the most exciting things I've encountered in-person would be elaborate trench systems & fire bases. I know there's gotta be more exciting stuff out there that peeps have seen.

There's a shitty field near me that has a portapotty field so they're really keeping on with the shitty theme.

This sounds like it might be full circle shitty, where it's so shitty it's good again... I'd be in for a "pump-n-dump" event. Could even have themed games we everyone's shuffling around the field with ankles loosely bound together... It'd be one for the books. (just one, though)

Siress I’d be into that! I have thought of putting together a pump day/MCB gathering there, just for shits (👀) and giggles, but there’s only 3 fields and I wasn’t sure how many people would want to join,

Don't even need the other 2 fields. The event is only about one thing: the Caca Caches. The Honey Pots. The Bog Closets. The Fertilizer Farms. The Bowel Rockets. The Forbidden Blue Water Oases. The Brownstain Bear Caves. The Guano Get-aways. The Night Soil Nooks. The Meadow Muffin Bakeries.

For years my favorite "map" or "feature" to play has been Dark Woods at Super Game Oregon. A singular fort surrounded 360 degrees by woods, lit up at night, has always made for some very exciting games.

I've never played dark woods because it's at the back of the 70 acre field.

For me, unique one for sure. Spokan paintball club.

Indoor, a little over half the field was 2 stories, room to room. even had a ramp up to the second floor and a slide to come back down. The other half was an open area that they rotated bunkers through but a lot of times it was airball bunkers so it was more open.

Played one of the most fun games there called wallyball.

I played at a field as a teen that had 5' tall inflatable balls you rolled around. Never saw that anywhere else.

Just like an airball bunker, but round and not tethered to anything. Best strategy I found was to roll it down field as fast as I could and surprise the other players.

I started at a field "ran" by ex legionaries we had a few old military trucks, lots and lots of SAM crates and piles of sandbags from the target range.
We would go dig for famas bullets we we ran out of air 😜

What would you expect in Alaska?

We used 3 and 5-gallon plastic buckets as molds, and used a small clearing behind my shop.

Jaegers Subsurface in Kansas City is in an actual cave/mine, as far as I know that’s unique in the paintball world.

Oklahoma D-day back in its glory days had some pretty fun trenches, bunkers, and props. Especially on the landing beaches - Crawling around on Omaha beach with my buddies and hundreds of other players while literal pallets worth of paint were flying through the air will always be peak paintball for me.

OK D-day feels like a fever dream at this point. The spotter aircraft they brought out for the last couple years of the original run was wild.

There’s a field at Warzone in RI where the top 2/3 of all the bunkers made of safety netting. You can see it in the background of this pic from @CapitalDave Stock class game last year.

There's a field at cousins paintball in manchester NJ thats nothing but old fiberglass boats. Talked to the field owner and for awhile they would take any boats people wanted to get rid of and made a field out of them. No they don't take boats anymore lol. They also used to do 5 dollar fridays in the summer, a lot of people in the area would give their kids 20-30 bucks and leave them there for the day, was cheaper than daycare lol

V Town paintball in Maine has a similar field but all the boats are cut in pieces so it feels like an acid trip. nnolt89 may have pics

last time i was there, it was black snake mating season and every one of those boats had at least 5 snakes in it. youd run up to one for cover and theyd go shooting out

I always loved Sherwood Forest in northern Indiana when their main castle was lit up at night with torches. Here’s a couple pictures I took.

All The railroad ties cut like old Lincoln logs are a blast to play. The bunkers are plentiful and well thought out. That field is one of my favorites to play. The lay outs were really designed for paintball in mind. I wonder if the guy that cut all those logs is still around 😬

They have a BYOP this May. They usually do a few hours of night play, not sure about this year. It's a GTA themed game called Heists. I expect to "rob" a lot of players 😂

The time I played they had battery operated flood lights setup for the night games. They were randomly placed around the field. You would walk around and get torched the min you triggered one.

I've always thought a bunch of fog machines filling a field would be fun. And make everyone wear a bell on their ankle or something. In my mind it would be super fun and kinda creepy. Probably better for an indoor setting.

I certainly like the idea! Maybe add in some (very) low-intensity strobe effects.
