    Nelson

Just went online to find some black shelled nelson paint for an upcoming event.... and they are no longer making paint it seems.

This is probably old news for most of you, however i was bummed out. i don't necessarily have a point, just had to get that off my chest.

    The end

You know the state of the industry is bad when the people that started the industry no longer support it.

Sadly old news, but from what I've heard Nelson will still produce batches if you have a big enough order. Obviously that won't help you right in this moment, but food for thought.

I say we all get together and order a butt load of paint from Nelson, but in our own proprietary size. Like say 64.27 cal, just to really screw with them. And then we all order barrel inserts from Doc's in our new proprietary caliber.
Or maybe I should go take my meds and stop typing

That would probably be for the best.

What makes you think they have molds for anything other than a 68 caliber ball?

These days a proprietary caliber would be .690. Make big balls great again!

I've always wondered why they even included .689" and .691" inserts in a Freak kit. I figured people just threw those out first thing, like taking the Jokers out of a deck of cards.

in the stainless steel Freak insert kit, they included both .695 and .697 actually. Yes, really. And those sizes really come in handy whenever I go to shoot my collection of 15-20 year old paintballs I got from the old store I used to work at. Actually I just shot some 2002-03 PMI balls just the other day, besides being a bit soft (and boring even larger than .697) they were still shootable.
