The greatest MCB giveaway! 24k gold!

Good afternoon: (EDIT NOT AN APRILS FOOLS PRANK. This is SERIOUS.)

when a dear friend passed away, his paintball possessions were passed to me. This marker was a gift to him from me, and a few others. It is a gold plated RT auto mag. Right now it is sitting in a box in my storage room. I don’t imagine that I will ever have a place to hang it in a state of reverence. I do keep a photo of my dear friend above my saw in my workshop., so I think of him almost daily.

what I would like for this marker would be for it to go to somebody who would use it. It will likely require some tuning as it sat for years. I might also ask for help with shipping as it will constitute a large package. That being said it’s available and open to anybody on the forum just post up that you would like it, that you would take care of it, and agree that you could never sell it. You’d be more than welcome to give it away in the future as a gift to somebody, but the same conditions would apply. Think of it as a restrictive covenant.

Nice. I want it but I'm in the UK so shipping would be long and potentially more dangerous. Also I'd never use it, probably just stare at it on a shelf after I'd made a stand for it. I hope it goes to a good home! (Assuming it isn't an April Fools thing, of course!)

Calvin, I get it man, even though getting hit these days hurts like MF it gives me those nostalgic flashbacks playing back in the 90/00s as a kid and teen all those summers working at a field and playing at the field or the outlaw ball I would start up at work. All that every single time I go out and get hit, it’s a trip, even writing this is brought back that nostalgia, I can smell the paint, the smell of the grease spraying down the 68carbines, prolites, mirages, a little dirt and grime lol. oh I just got the shivers, better stop before I get erect.

Hot damn is that a beauty! And a great way to honour a friend. I'll put my hat in for this with the proviso that I'd be slapping my warp feed on this. I'm a lefty, so would be perfect. I only play a couple times a year though. I would also promise that when I am not able to use it anymore that it gets passed on to the next MCB member to continue the legacy.

That thing needs a polished stainless barrel and a mount for it to rest on, on a slab of walnut with a polished brass plaque describing it's creation, history, owners history, and clear conditions/instructions for whoever finds themselves in possession of it. That would be neat.


Changed my opinion edit: I agree with what Alpha Q said and think it would be awesome if this was set up with a shipable Pelican case with foam and it gets shipped around (safely) to as many people as possible so it gets to play on as many fields and and as many games as possible. The story can spread that way. I know that I would be honored with that legacy. I hope that they would too.
