Which is the biggest stock class game in the US?

If I were going to travel to a stock class event, which should I try to go to? One of the Slim's events? Stockstravaganza?

I don't know Stockstravaganza, But I do know Slim's games.
Some of the best games I've attended, and I've been to a lot of them.

idk if stocktoberfest is the biggest, but I loved it when I was in New England, hoping to be able to make it back again some day.

Understand, I haven't been to Slims games since I moved south and retired.
I was there since the beginning, watched it grow.
A few dozen in the beginning at Strategy Plus, later 120 or more players at AirSports. I'm sure it's grown since I left. I miss it.

It's not the numbers I miss, it's the people. A better bunch of fellows (and ladies) you'll never meet.

I've made both the spring and fall slims games for about 3 years in a row now. Their my favorite stock/pump events to attend throughout the year. As far as numbers so, I think the least amount of people was 40 for each day and the most I've seen was 70 a year or two ago. I've also played ganza, I think we had about 40 players last year.

The other stock events I've heard good things are the So Cal stock guys on the west coast, seems like their events always draw a lot of people

SoCal Stock is probably the largest group but it’s not true stock class they allow HPA at most of there larger events. They pull larger numbers and while a lot of the OG Stock Class guys play with 12g there are a lot of bottles and angled stick feeds at those games. Not that it affects the gameplay much those guys are top notch ballers. The time I was out there I had an amazing experience. Worth the tip I flew from NY to the LeftCoast for an event.

Slims fall always pulls large numbers over the years it’s changed locations I think Strategy Plus was one of the largest I’m sure he could give you hard numbers. Slims 2.0 rules are a lot more ridged when it comes to the Stock Class definition. They are now held at AG Paintball in Wear NH who has been an amazing host. Slims games are 2 day (with camping) events the people that play it are awesome the fields are awesome and always changing. My personal favorites are the mounds games and pipes. There 10 man pipes field is amazing! Playing 30+ Vs 30+ stock class on it is incredible. We also do a quick draw competition that has evolved into official rules scoring system. If you are a Stock Class Nerd I highly recommend at least experiencing a two day True Stock Class event. Lots of rare old school gear, BST tables of goods exchange hands. Lots of stuff that never even hits the BST here. Awesome vendors peddling the finest soft goods (Handmade). I couldn’t recommend Slims games more. The Stock Class destination. We have guys fly in every year.

Stock Ganza game at NR Adventure park in Taneytown, MD. StockGanza is Hosted by the Timber Ghost crew is another great True Stock Class event. The past few years they have been running a fantastic two day event with camping. The TimberGhosts have become regulars at Slims and decided to hoast their own local Stock event. This has quickly become a must play event. I really like the way the fields play at NR they are flat, built for fast pace play, game turnover is incredible due to field setup. We play so many games I’m always cramping up from sear exhaustion. We do Quick draw and last year we did a Splatmaster game that was so much fun. I bet we had 20+ vs 20+ all stock Splatmaster games. I guarantee this one is worth the travel. It would make a fantastic destination game.

Bacci Mtn is on my bucket list. I definitely want to experience one of his games at some point.

I will say this larger does not always = better. It’s all about the people. When everyone on the field is the “good shot guy” OG ballers who respect the game, call there shots. Guys will often paint check each other. They Play hard but are respectful to what makes Stock Class great. After a good battle we break bread crush some beers and laugh our ass off till your sides hurt. Stock Class is the Best Class #StockClassy

My personal favorites are Slims and Ganza if I could only play 3x a year it would be Slims (Spring), Ganza, and Slims (Fall)

Really want to make a Slims event this year. I'm kind of a rules/structure nerd so I really appreciate what he's outlined with the SC 2.0.

Based off my talks with the island guys I feel like Hawaii has a strong scene? Not sure if they have any big games or meetups.

Slim’s and ‘Ganza are both excellent awesome eastern events. I played a few slims but haven’t bent able to make it AG yet. ‘Ganza is newer and still growing but truly a worthy event.

I really like Ganza because it draws ballers from the southern states that would otherwise not travel all the way to Slims in NH. We should have a few more heading down this year for Ganza. I been telling the guys they need to go and it’s worth the travel. I’m really looking forward to this years event.
