Back to paint all after an 8 year hiatus

Back playing paintball after an 8 year hiatus (kidney failure, and then a kidney/pancreas transplant). My favorite local woodsball field is no longer around, so started playing at the next closest field to me, which has 2 speedball fields and a big recball field. Now that my boys are playing with me (11 and 13) I decided we all needed electo markers and gear. Picked up an HK/BL TREX for myself, an HK/BL Ripper for my youngest, and my oldest has been going back and forth between my 2k1 Cocker and an older Invert Mini.

We’ve been going out every Sunday for a month now with two of my best friends who jumped back in to paintball and we’re all back flying high on the vibes. Just wanted to tell everyone how much I missed Paintball and that I realized, again, how much I need this in my life.

Welcome back and what a shot to start things off with. That looks like a rough one. Transplant success and being able to play with your kids ,now that is the best part of the story

Welcome back! Just came back after almost 15 years myself, as well as a couple other buddies coming back after 10 and 15 years. Second weekend out at the field I met another guy who had played with one of my buddies on the local field team back in the day, and is also coming back after 15 or so years. Been seeing lots of posts on Reddit and FB of people coming back after a long time away, which is awesome to see, and really hope the trend continues. Feels like a lot of people are starting to realize just how much they need/want to be active again, for both their physical and mental health.

I think rubbing some tussin on your neck can get rid of that ringworm. Welcome back! Glad you are here!

Yes Jonnydread The tussin... Good for a cold or a flu but also used for Broken Bones and other serious injuries according to Chris Rock.
